Scared for the 4 month sleep regression

Since my babies umbilical cord fell off i’ve been doing nightly baths to help her relax and sleep better. She’s 2 months now and she really enjoys her baths and her spa treatment right after. She’ll eat after and fall asleep and only have maybe one or two feeding throughout the night.

Now that she’ll almost be 3 months soon, i can’t help but have the scares for the 4 month sleep regression. I return to work around that time and i have no idea how i’ll cope with it.

I’m sitting here thinking to myself maybe if i keep the same routine with her maybe we’ll get lucky and avoid it?? idk
Any tips on how some of you guys got through it?

Best baby carrier?

What’s the best baby carrier out there? I have the momcozy wrap and carrier but i’m not a huge fan of them anymore. I’m not worried about the price, i just want something comfortable for baby and i.

My daughter has her 2-month checkup tomorrow. We went about 3 weeks ago because I suspected she might have silent reflux, but the doctor brushed it off since she’s gaining weight well—which I’m grateful for.

However, I’m still really concerned. I know spit-up is normal, but when she spits up, she cries like she’s in pain. She’ll also arch her back and gets really fussy, and she seems especially uncomfortable when I lay her flat. It makes it really hard for her to settle or sleep after feedings.

I’ve tried gas drops, gripe water, burping her well, tummy time, and keeping her upright for at least 20 minutes after feeds, but she still seems uncomfortable.

I don’t think it’s her formula, though I know that’s probably something the doctor will want to rule out first. She poops normally and passes gas without any issues.

I just want to make sure I’m not overlooking something—is this normal, or could it be something more?

i’m planning my husband’s birthday, and by then my baby will be about 15 weeks old. it’s a 4-hour drive to Austin, TX. my husband isn’t too keen on getting an Airbnb, but honestly, i feel like it’s our best option so everyone can actually rest.

i’m stuck trying to figure out what’s reasonable to bring for just a short trip (3 days max). i don’t want to go overboard, but i also don’t want to be unprepared. i’ve thought about getting a travel bassinet, but it feels unnecessary for a one-time trip since we don’t plan on traveling much this year. i have seen those in-bed bassinets you can place on the mattress, though, and i’m considering that.

his birthday is in june, and i really want to keep things family-focused and low-stress for all of us. Is it even smart to want to travel at 3 months?
