We live in Ontario. My Daughter is looking at buying a 2004 Mini S - the seller is willing to safety it.

The one issue is that it is being sold with a steering wheel that does not have an airbag - it is my understanding that to pass safety, it would need to have a steering wheel with an airbag, as it was initially manufactured with one - is this correct?

I have a 2016 Hyundai Sonata and it needs a wheel bearing replaced on one wheel - I have been quoted $1100 taxes in. This seems insane - in based in Ontario, Canada.
