Hey y'all I have a question, my wife planted a garden down in an area of the yard that typically grows quite thick and this year I noticed it didn't grow as thick. In certain spots I can see dirt between where it looks like the grass is thinned out. I'm only bothered in the sense that my kids run in the area and I don't want them getting hurt. She loves her garden and I don't really care about the yard in a it must be perfect kind of way just in a I want my kids to be able to run it without worry way. So I guess my question is did the garden thin out the grass and is there a kind I can put down that next year's garden won't turn into a dry zone they can't play there. Edit for clarification I'm not worried about the boys getting dirty but I also don't want the hassle of an acre of just dirt and rock. I'd like them to be able to run through the grass and have fun. And she plants typical garden things tomatoes and squash and cucumbers and such nothing exotic.

Hey all I have a LR308 and a Savage 110 in 308 and as I understand it there's different ratings for semi use and bolt gun use? I'm on a bit of a budget so ideally would buy one for both guns. Then the plan is for one for my 22s a marlin bolt gun, a 10/22, and a Ruger mark 4 22/45. So any recommendations there would be welcome as well

Hello everybody, I'm a commercial locksmith for a property in southern Indiana and last year the property went through a bigger than usual flood. I currently use Schlage lfic cores and was able to save a bunch of cores from doors before they were replaced by the restoration company. I want to clean them and have access to a sonic cleaner and foaming simple green and industrial kitchen dawn dish soap. Has anyone done this before and what recipe did you use to clean? My current plan is water with a splash of simple green followed by a round of isopropyl alcohol to help dry out any water and finally spraying some tri-flow inside to relube. Any advice would be appreciated
