Hi I (27F) have had some double vision, ptosis on one side on and off for years, and recently started having difficulty talking, choking on food or water and the end of the day. I read about MG and on a whim asked my pcp to test my blood for it so I can just know for sure.. well my lab work came back very high for MG antibodies and I’m seeing a neuromuscular specialist tomorrow and I’m really nervous. There’s is not much information online about this disease or what my life will look like now. What should I expect at my appointment tomorrow?

I finally got approval from my insurance and am scheduled for July 1st!

Tell me everything I need to buy for post op! I meet with my boss on Monday to discuss leave, my doctor said at 4 weeks I’ll be cleared but I can go back to work at 2 weeks if I can be on light work duty. I am an RN in the pediatric ER so I’m nervous about this. How long do most people go out of work? How long did you need help showering/ going to the bathroom? What did you do while recovering to pass time? Give me all your insight and advice please!

Hey guys! I’m visiting Seattle for the third time this September and gonna be doing some hiking, wanted to know if anyone knows good camper van rentals in the Seattle area since that’s where we’re flying into. I’ve seen some decent things on road surfer. Outdoorsy seemed a little pricey. Any recommendations and reviews are appreciated!
