Is there an unofficial Euro team Sounders fans follow? World Cup has convinced me I need a Euro team to root for! Google says Sounders have shared community outreach ties with Tottenham Hotspur and has historic links to West Ham United. These seem like good options?

After watching a lot of these World cup matches i'm thinking I need to start watching some Euro soccer. I need a team to root for though, so i'm curious who others here follow.

EDIT: So far it seems like Tottenham and Arsenal both elicit some very strong feelings for and against! Arsenal I understand, I had a coworker that was a complete ass when it came to his Arsenal fandom. They are so not on my list.

EDIT: So far Liverpool and Dortmund jump out at me. AC Milan due to Pulisic. Man City due to Haaland. And Athletico Madrid for Vargas, even though he chose the Mexican national team over the US. Also, sounds like I need to just start watching games and see who jumps out at me.

We asked our landscapers to trim our Leylands back to about 3ft all the way up, to give the grass more sun, and they did this. Give me some hope!

Tacoma, WA area btw. We wanted the Leylands trimmed back to about 3ft out, to allow a little more sun for the grass, since it was all turning to moss or just dying outright. Landscapers were supposed to come on a Saturday and didn’t. The came Monday when nobody was around and before I caught them they’d done this. The crew only heard more sun for the grass apparently. Then proceed to butcher the trees all the way to the trunks. Anyways, I’m dealing with the landscapers.

Are these a lost cause? Is there any chance of them recovering at all over the years? Maybe we can plant something else if front of the butchered trees? The plan is to give them a year and see how they look before we cut them down. Please give us some hope!

I almost added NSFW tag those trees look so mutilated.

I've read that 401k, IRA and other retirement funds accounting for 35-40% of the stock market. Also, that most of these investors just let their accounts sit, regardless of market conditions. This has to effect how the market functions vs 30 years ago, right?

Does this essentially provide a buffer or floor on the market? Does it change the rules on how the market functions vs 30+ years ago when these accounts didn't exist?

I've been debating this with my dad for a couple years now. I feel like with that "buffer" along with the retail vibe investors, we may see a crash but we won't see huge crash like we've seen in the past. That the rules have changed and we can't rely on past "warning signs". I can't find any articles or books on this so I'm here asking.
