Our nightmare, very wealthy, neighbours are using their second home as a base when they're here and all they do is create problems.

The answer from every organisation we've spoken to (including police) is:

• we can't do anything because they're not registered
• it's not a priority because they're not registered
• take them to civil court
• if something happens with crinimal urgency call 112

We're at a loss. We can't afford to take them to court we just want a level of basic normality. Issues have included theft, tresspassing, child abuse concerns, threats, and intimidation. I don't understand how they've slipped under the radar for so long. Police have 'logged' these issues but said they don't have resource to investigate.

Everyone else in the neighbourhood has also had issues with them including previous owners.

Any advice?

I like to go on Substack to read and interact rather than write. Almost every post on here seems to be self promotion (despite the rules) or talking about building a following on the platform.

Anyone else a reader rather than a writer?

I'm pretty sure my wife is ChatGPT.
