How long does it take? I pretty much have everything ready and bookmarked it last month it was in stock until a few days ago when I saved up enough money to buy it’s out of stock… unlucky

I have a 1080p 27inch IPS monitor and a Japanese PS1/PS2.. what do I need to buy to make things work?

I heard Retrotink is the way to go, but I don’t know which ones to get as I see some of them are a bit expensive. I’m new to all this retro stuff on modern displays…

I won a NAD case after a full month of back and forth with PayPal and the scummy seller. PayPal asked me to return the items to the address they provided while marking it as “returned cargo” on the box.

I did all of that and marked it on the label too with choosing returned as the type of shipment in the shipper website + insured it and paid for signature required. I paid out of pocket so it arrives to him fast, get my money and close this headache. It was expensive.

It arrived today in his country and the tracking timeline shows that they’re trying to get it out of customs and they might need info from him or me.

I have until Aug 5 until the case closes and I am worried that the scammer will just ignore what they ask from him in order to get it out and just leave the shipment in customs until they ship it back to me. What is the best course of action here to get ahead and prevent something like this from happening?

I bought a an item from a guy a year ago. It was expensive. We agreed to trade stuff to get the cost down so I sipped him his stuff, and he shipped mine. Everything is good.

He happens to collect the same stuff that I do so we exchanged contacts to talk whenever interesting stuff shows up. He always insist that I sell him things he wanted outside eBay especially through PayPal. I decline not because I don’t trust him (silly me).. but because I can’t transfer money from PayPal to my local bank account. So he ended up buying from me again on eBay, received his goods and everything is good.

Fast forward months after, he tells me that he wants to sell some valuable things from his collection. We negotiate, I tell him from the start prices in USD not Euro, he read it and went on to negotiate. He didn’t like the price so I said deal off I can’t pay this much. I told him best thing I do now is to buy some items now and pay for rest later. We agreed.

He insisted that I pay him through PayPal friends and family, or bank transfer. I was going to do that but this option ain’t available in my region so I just paid him through PayPal normally (goods and services I think) and the payment email says you’re eligible for buyers protection.

The payment was on June 12th and it arrived a week later. Since I thought I trusted him, I didn’t open the package until today. I discover that all the items were different from the ones we agreed on. I went to message him and he blocked me from WhatsApp and eBay. What should I do now? It was pretty expensive and if I can get my money back it would be great. I have all the messages on WhatsApp. Lesson learned I guess no matter that the outcome is.

TLDR: Got scammed, seller shipped different items from the ones we agreed on. He then blocked me. Payment was on 12th of June.
