As a CIV player who liked CIV switching, is it worth coming back?

I actually liked the civ switching, it added extra flavour in each age. I only disliked units spawning, others lost and cities changing names on each age change. Thought that was weird.

But for someone who enjoyed playing a civ in each age, is it worth coming back? Has the last age / modern improved?

How do you usually play Legacy?

Just curious to hear people’s thoughts.
Do you usually play in paper, in MTGO leagues, or both?

And if not paper, why?

New to Batman comics. Am I following a good order?

I read my first DC comic ever, the killing joke, I got as a gift.

I loved the comic and want to read other ones.
I downloaded a bunch to my Kobo color libra. It’s a small screen but from my tests you can actually see the comic well. May buy other physical copies if I like them.

So, I downloaded:
Year one
Year two
The long Halloween
Court of owls
Harleen
Dark knight returns

And plan to read them in that order, does that make sense?

Also, some of these have extra comics, for example year one has The Eerie, One Batman too much.

Are those worth reading?

Thanks!

Best way to train for FNM every other week?

Hey, new MTGO player here.

I play with a Modern Black disrupt midrange deck. It's not tier 1/2, more like a rogue homebrew deck.
I'm also interested in ocasionally playing Legacy, lots of the modern cards I'm buying carry over to the Legacy deck.

I understand it's a harder deck to pilot and to be able to go 3-1 or 4-0 on FNMs it requires a lot of reps and knowledge of how to interact with meta decks.

I try to replicate the decks on Arena (for free) but the meta is really different there.

So I figured playing MTGO and doing matches there could help me, it's also not an expensive deck on MTGO.

That being said, what's the best way to get those extra reps on MTGO and have an extra "FNM" experience?
I'm aware there are friendly leagues, competitive leagues, and just friendly matches. How much do those cost to enter? Which of those are the closer to FNM experience?

What would be my best approach here?

Thanks for any help.

Best place to get tix in Europe?

Im a new player to MTGO and some sites won't sell tix to European countries.

What is the best place to currently get tix to buy cards?

And also, why are some rando uncommons so expensive, like Mishra's Bauble?

Thank you

I used to play Grixis death shadow when it was popular. But I don’t like the current version as much nowadays.

I’m thinking of building mono black necrodominance and I own much of the deck but Sheoldred’s price is too high right now.

I recently saw this other deck and it seems so much fun, but I’m afraid it won’t be really competitive, even for FNM level. May adding a Liliana Last hope for recurring Fulminator mage, but is probably slow.

I own basically all the cards from this deck.

I enjoy grindier matchups. Some value engine is nice, but I don’t really like infinite combos or pure control decks.

Thanks!
