Sharing this exceptional sit experience in Colorado as both a positive and to highlight the listing. 
The HO are traveling in November (and April) and we can’t sit for them then - but this will be a repeat for sure!

Why is this one of our favorites?

* HO are a welcoming and generous Dutch couple
* Home is a gorgeous, modern log cabin style on 150 acres
* Vehicle included 
* 3 hours south of Denver and near other points of interest like the Royal Gorge train ride. If you’re into vintage, Florence is a perfect day trip

* Dogs are senior Rhodesian Ridgebacks who mostly lounge on the couch and only bark if something’s nearby (usually deer or cows)
* Daily walk is your own private hiking trail entirely on their property
* There are 4 sweet horses to feed but, as noted in the listing, a neighbor can handle that if you prefer (took us 15-20 minutes AM & PM) 

* Cozy, like a ranch spa retreat - heated floors, stainless steel hot tub (non-chlorinated treatment) with a view, spacious home
* Peaceful and private but not remote, neighbors are in sight and town is a 20 minute drive with art galleries, saloon & tiki bar
* Westcliffe is International Dark Sky certified which means that on clear nights you’ll see the Milky Way and so many stars

From the Media Tech Museum in Kansas City, MO

This large brick would have been part of the upper wall of a tomb.

Its top imitates the sloping, tiled roofs of real architecture, and its front is decorated with auspicious motifs:
- a deer head, perhaps signifying longevity
- coins denoting wealth
- protective monster masks
- figures riding horses and in carriages

By Paul Hankar, a visionary architect and designer who co-founded the Belgian Art Nouveau movement.

Made of mahogany and rosewood, accented with ivory, wrought iron, and steel.

It looks like a similar splint was posted here a few years ago but not the folding screen.
