I am only 5 years married. Before getting married, we often have s*x like literally 3-5x a day. After marriage, the intimacy slowly became less and less. There is no cheating on both sides. I still love s*x but my husband is just happy with cuddles and kissing.

Tonight we’re supposed to do it as I am very fertile. We had shower and went to bed early. I was so looking forward to it as we want to try to have a child. But we end up not doing it. I am very upset that he’s waiting for me to initiate it and I lost my desire when he said it.

I am getting fed up and I’ve been considering leaving my husband. Been thinking about this for a year now. I am 40 now and I don’t think I still have a chance to have a child. I don’t want to cheat that’s why I am considering to divorce him.

He is a very nice guy, we are financially stable, both earning our own money that’s why I want to try to have a child as we thought we can afford to have one.

I don’t I would ever become a mother. I am just so fed up with this situation.

Hi guys, I had a laparoscopic excision surgery for DIE and surgery lasted for over 3 hours as it was an extensive surgery due to how bad me endometriosis is. This was on 22 May 2026.

My recovery is really good, didn’t really have problems. On 15 June, we will go on holiday to Scotland and this will include lots of walking but I’ll try not to walk too much.

How long were you able to do lots of walking after your surgery?

Finally, I had my laparoscopic excision surgery at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust on 22 May 2026.

I waited 10 months for this surgery, and thankfully, everything went well without any complications. Before the operation, both the surgeon and the anaesthetist explained the procedure thoroughly. I was able to ask questions, and they answered everything clearly, which helped reassure me.

I was terrified when I went into the anaesthetic room, but the staff calmed me down. As soon as they administered the anaesthetic, I nodded off and didn’t feel anything at all. I truly felt well taken care of throughout the experience.

The surgery lasted around three hours because I have extensive endometriosis. My organs were stuck together, and my fallopian tubes and ovaries were attached to my abdomen. I did not undergo bowel resection, as this could have resulted in me needing a stoma for a long period of time.

When I woke up after surgery, I surprisingly was not in pain. However, I felt extremely nauseous and would vomit whenever I moved. I was initially told that I could go home a few hours after the surgery, but both my husband and I agreed it would be better for me to stay overnight in the hospital in case any complications occurred and I needed immediate medical attention.

The following day, I felt much better. I was no longer nauseous and still had no pain, so I went home exactly 24 hours after the surgery.

My recovery has been going really well. I followed all the discharge instructions carefully and rested at home. I experienced significant bloating for the first three days after surgery, but by the fourth day, I felt back to normal. I still had no pain, the bloating had gone down, and my legs were no longer swollen after wearing the anti-thrombosis stockings as advised in my discharge instructions. I also drank plenty of peppermint tea, and I was able to pass gas within an hour after surgery, which meant I thankfully did not experience gas pain.

While I was in recovery, my surgeon wanted to speak to me about the procedure, but I was still very groggy from the anaesthetic. Instead, another gynaecologist came to my room and explained what had happened during the surgery.

When I got home, my surgeon personally called to check on me and discuss the outcome of the operation. He told me that the surgery had been successful.

Overall, I am very happy with my experience and hopeful that I can start IVF soon. My surgeon also told me that I could try to conceive naturally because my ovaries are healthy and my fallopian tubes were successfully opened. I’m 41 this year.

I was very comfortable during my hospital stay. Although I was admitted to a ward, I had my own individual room with air conditioning and a lovely view.

All of my take-home medications were provided free of charge. Overall, I feel great and completely pain-free. The only thing I still struggle with is injecting myself with the blood thinner medication.

I can’t make up my mind if I should go ahead with the lap. The consultant said that it would come back faster and worse than it is now. I am in so much pain during my period only and got diagnosed with die.

How was your experience with surgery? Did it come back very quickly? Is there anyone here who had only 1 surgery for the past 10 years?

I am having an excision surgery on Friday, 22 May and Mr. Gore is my surgeon. Any feedback about him? My surgery will be at Tunbridge Wells NHS.

When I was working in BPO, we had a training to improve our customer service skills specially our customer review score. Then during training, the trainer told us to share with the group our worst life experiences. None of the group said no to it and they started sharing stories that for me should be kept private. When it was my turn, I said NO. My life has nothing to do with work. I am a private person and I am not comfortable sharing my secret to anyone. I am in my 40’s and had many good friends in the past but I always kept things private about me.

I am very friendly but I want privacy and I don’t like oversharing my life to anyone even my friends.

I grew up in a province where high school was far away, so I moved out of my family home and stayed in our rental place until college. After graduating, I didn’t move back in with my parents. I started working right away and have been living independently since then.

When I’m not feeling well, I usually don’t tell my parents because I don’t want to worry or burden them. This month, I’m having major surgery and only my husband and I know about it.

Then last week, nag message mother ko. Sabi niya, kwento ka naman kung okay ka or hindi kasi feeling ko you’re not okay. I never gave them any hint about what I’m going through. I live abroad so they really don’t have an idea.

My husband and I, went to building show. 2 random ladies approached me and told me ang ganda ko daw. Of course napa thank you na lang ako. Tapos maya maya, may nakasalubong kaming babae and nginitian niya ako. Sabi “you look beautiful and very classy” “i like your outfit too, it suits you. And asked me if where are they from. I live in London and these are English ladies in their 30’s and they are very pretty. I never thought I am beautiful specially medyo hindi ako nagagandahan sa nose ko.
