Bartender Banter
The new bartender started working at my job a few months ago and I thought he was cute from the start. A little after he started, he opened up about moving states to be with his girlfriend just for her to break up with him shortly after. He’s asked me if there’s any girls he should look out for at work but took it back because he doesn’t want to get his heart broken. Over the past month, he’s given me the middle finger, acted sassy towards me, and given me sarcasm. I don’t take it to heart and play along with him. When he first did it, I confronted him about it and he said he was joking. The second time, he quickly apologized and said he’s “sassy out of love for me” but it’s different with others. I don’t see him behaving this way with other people so I’m intrigued and confused.
