Hey guys!!

I have a dilemma: currently I have a job offer for $22/hr, but I’m working at current for $18/hr. The new job offer could give me a bit more of money each month, but the important part is it has the potential to count towards my immigration process.

The catch is, the new place is 1h30 minutes away from my home, as opposed to the current job which is only 20 min from my place, and has the potential to develop into something more career-wise, because I know this place well and the people really like me here. BUT the current position at my current job doesn’t count for immigration yet, not for at least a year.

What should I do?? Both of these jobs aren’t in my field of work, and I don’t want to be so burnt out with the new one with the hour commute that I’m unable to spend time with anyone/do anything I want to pursue my actual major.

I’m currently sharing an apartment with some roomates and we recently noticed COCKROACHES

The thing is, we pay a lot of mind to not leaving food scraps out, and do cleaning semi-regularly and have noticed some cockroaches from the hallway, which means the entire complex is infested. In our old place we had zero cockroaches.

Does anyone have any tips for getting rid of/limiting them?? Anything will help, we are really stressed out at the moment.

I hope everyone’s got a good week so far.

I’m currently planning on making a makeshift home cinema in my bedroom to invite peeps over, and I’m looking for a small projector. I have a pretty large open wall and would prefer to get something a bit high quality as the last time I was at a friend’s house with a projector, I noticed the colors were all off and the quality wasn’t that great :/

Does anybody have any recommendations/tips on looking for a good projector? I know almost nothing about projectors and don’t want to get something low quality. My budget is around $50-$150, I’d also like to thrift if the option is available! I’m located in Canada, and my room dimensions are: 15’ x 10’2”.
