Just Mental Fortitude Check the Meta

Wlted Robo is probably the most popular meta build and is a pretty bad matchup, if the other person can comprehend their screen that is.

Spackhuggare, An Orca forced into a Crabs body

Spackhuggare is a pet build of mine, a woog'd Ajuncrab if you will mostly just to have fun in customs with. Put a decent effort into the decaling as well as general stylization of the build. Any criticism is welcome!

Video is a match against a WltedRobo type creature played by Hyperion

Any commentary or questions on why the build is the way it is would be greatly appreciated as I love talking about build theory and such.

Neco Arc barely surviving a femboy

Had several matches against StryderEZ (Top tier player, Irregular and tourney winner) a while back because I made some derogatory comments about most ZS players in ladder and this is my first win after a couple losses to him. I'd been getting complacent against zimm shields lately and Stryder cooked me for it. But with some not completely terrible gameplay managed to start running even against them.

At the bequest of 153 Irregular means ending the season at rank number 1

(PSA) AC6 is a clown show and here's why

All people in the video are awesome and great people! No actual hate is in this video.

All clips are either in S-rank promos or customs against friends. (cept for lca chimping)

3s Scrimmaging! LCDKaraTank

First of three builds I play in 3s for a 3s team consisting of Me(Cali/Smoke Eye), Sen, and SladkiVika, The CodFathers. This is just a scrimmage match of us playing against some friends

Aggro builds for people that find kiting boring that can climb in S (Once again with Share Codes)

I'm honestly sick of seeing the whole "Only kites are viable now"
There's quite a few valid aggressive builds and they make up a good chunk of the top 100 leaderboard. Remember to check captions!

Creature Crafting - S Rank Grabbers that don't belong (Share Codes Included!)

The builds I've used to sneak my way into S and then finally the one I'm using to stay top 100, Share codes included in captions! (most of these are not Meta viable, pretty much only the Alamm is any good)

SHOTGUNS! AF#2: The Unawaited Sequel

//Begin Transmission

Good day Raven. This is the Second episode of my series featuring of a bunch of builds focusing on PvP viability. This episode is going to have a dramatic shift in video format but the rest'll be the same stuff. Well here be a very well known (and oft despised) build, hell I'd say it's probably one of the most deceptively intricate ACs as well,

We have the Zimm Shield!

The Build:

Zimm shield’s revolve around two major aspects placed on a bipedal frame (although some insist on placing it on a reverse joint), Two Zimmermans, and a shield (Shocker). The most common shields are the VP-61PS and PB, with the PB having a much shorter Initial guard duration but neutralizing pretty much any damage while the PS performs better into things like Ludlows or Coquilletts. The right shoulder is pretty much dealers choice but I prefer laser drones while laser orbit is a common choice as well.

Strategy:

The Zimm Shield is extremely versatile, when facing bigger opponents it will often need to kite and perform hit and run however chasing kites will likely be the majority of your experience once in S-Rank.

Tips + Tricks (The meat of the post):

STAGGER FIRE YOUR ZIMMS. Firing them both at the same time contributes nothing but risk. If played right you should be able to keep the pressure up.

Stagger firing leads into your punish as well. On stagger you should have one zimm ready pretty quickly, firing this on a staggered opponent will “stagger extend” and allow you to immediately lead into a kick, and then ending firing your other zimm into the likely still micro-staggered opponent.

If the opponent has a shield, in order to make sure your kick after stagger extension lands you should orient yourself to the opponents rear. This forces them to turn around before their shield can protect them making them vulnerable for longer.

The PS shield has an Impact Guard duration of 0.6 seconds, this is a deceptively long time, so you can hold it up preemptively and use it to mitigate automatic fire without much punishment. (Feather it!)

When chasing in assault boost if the opponent turns around to go over you, instead of using AB quick boosts just jump cancel the AB and start it back up again, this is much faster and saves a lot of EN rather than spamming AB QBs.

If the opponent is ratty or a kite firing a stray zimm or two in their direction early on can deal a grand ol’ 1 or 2 damage. This is often enough to force them to come to you because of AP lead mechanics. (Needs good cover to work)

When chasing do not stay in AB all the way up to the enemy, jump cancel AB around the zimms engagement range so you can get your EN up. sometimes it is appropriate to stay in AB for the bonus to one of your zimm shots but the bread and butter is mostly spent in neutral movement. You have 340 Boost Speed for a reason, this is as fast as the most common lightweight kite’s (Kiri) backpedaling speed. You cant leverage your shield in AB, so leave the circle-boosting to quad-shotties (sometimes circle-boost is good, just not against kites usually).

You might not be a quadruped but the wiggle returns! While less effective than while on lamm when kiting a heavier opponent doing the a+d wiggle will still help a lot in throwing FCS off.

Jumping can be used as a de-facto dodge quite often around the mid range to save on EN.

Don’t redline while chasing unless absolutely necessary, your build is stat dense so you can be patient. Using that last little bit of EN just serves to let the opponent break the pressure and escape what could have been a death grip on them.

Make sure to charge the drones, uncharged they deal considerably less damage. Also timing their launch with a stagger on the horizon can make stagger punishes a lot more lethal.

When playing into kites and having a hard time keeping up in the first round it can help to purge your drones after launching them charged to make you a bit faster and raise your EN efficiency which might make the last little difference that was needed.

If low on health and having just staggered an opponent, but you know a standard stagger punish wont kill, you can perform a very long combo. This involves as follows.

Purge zimm that was used to gain stagger, stagger extend with other zimm, punch, zimm, punch, zimm, punch, zimm, kick if you have en, mix missiles in between if applicable. (Very difficult to time well and recommend practicing the initial input chain in customs)

Soft lock jousting, leaving hard lock gives you a pretty decent boost to your FCS, this allows jousting bigger ac’s like LRB shield while staying mobile and skirting past them in assault boost.

When facing fat boys like tanks, drones are indispensable, use scan to get an early lock, fire em off and maintain distance.

When ABing away from the enemy use you mouse or right stuck to, WIGGLE AGAIN WOOHOO, throwing off the chasing AC’s FCS.

In a situation where hiding is safer, and the opponent is low on AP, firing uncharged drones from behind cover can be a safe way to finish the match. (Courtesy of Sock)

If I missed something be mean! I'll add it if it isn't dumb!

All Piloting within video should not be taken as perfect play, any losses caused by copying bad moves are not able to be held against Smoke Eye Inc. (I was playing a lot of Strider before most of the clips so give me some slack)

Armored Features #1: The Reblamm!

//Begin Transmission

Howdy! This is the first in what is going to be an “episodic” feature of a bunch of builds focusing on PvP viability, all will be at minimum S-Viable all the way up to hyper-optimized leaderboard hogs. Format is likely going to stay as Video featuring the build and then a series of recently played matches featuring what I would consider standard gameplay, then short description of the AC and its general strategy with some tips (will likely be full of edits in the tip section with advice from other players!)

Up first as in the title we have the Reblamm!

The Build:
The reblamm is an aggressive lamm focused around leveraging its two redshifts, or rebulas alongside extremely high mobility. While primarily a 3v3 build also has a lot of staying power in singles.
(There are several Variations of this build, one notable version is played by Padoru, and utilizes a buckler shield alongside a jvln Alpha instead of one of the rebulas)

Strategy:
Stay close and mobility check the hell out of most other ACs

Tips + Tricks (The meat of the post):

Wiggle! While in hover mode on either approach or backpedaling either mashing a+d or swiftly shaking the left stick you can seriously inhibit the opponents FCS

If in need of altitude quickly either to escape to greater heights or to chase a high up kite look straight up, start an assault boost, and immediately qb to the side once or twice. You’ll have gained altitude up to nearly skybox however at the cost of about half your en.

If you know your opponent is playing highly aggressive, at the start of a match you can just once again look straight up, but this time kicking repeatedly. This will very efficiently place you at a desired altitude, while not at all expedient it is very helpful in certain matchups.

You can feint! When firing a charged rebula you can cancel the launch with a quickboost, this will often bait shield usage or a dodge with the “beep beep” in order to create openings.

Pretty much nothing in the game can keep up if you just spam QB in one direction, you can use this to either build distance on or chase down an opponent. Useful for stagger resetting, getting away from a Pulse Armor pop, or just rushing the hell out of someone else trying to stagger reset.

Leverage Cover, your DUO3s can go over cover very easily and get pick damage, helpful when you already have AP lead and want to force the opponent to approach.

QBing outside of hover mode sucks, so don’t
