Non-Makeup Fashion Advice

I don't wear makeup, never have and don't plan to. It takes time and energy that I just don't care to put towards it. But I personally feel like some fashion styles look best when the person is wearing makeup. For example; retro chic, goth, corporate, etc. I'm 38 and finally able to put some energy into finding my own personal style but I'm struggling to find style aspects that harmonize with a bare, mature face. Any ideas or advice is welcome!

38F Looking For Casual Style Advice

I'm going to start by saying I care about dressing for my age and body size. I'm not looking for "just wear whatever makes you happy" comments. I'm 38, short and fat, and work in a warehouse. I currently have no social life besides going to the grocery store or thriftstore once a week. Up until 4 years ago I was stuck in a family cult that dictated what I wore so I'm just venturing out into modern fashion. For the past 4 years I've mostly just worn black leggings and a solid colored t-shirt with sneakers but I feel like I look frumpy and depressed. I'm newly single, no children, and mostly work or play video games. I need to feel comfortable and able to move in my clothes. Because of my work I need clothes that I can sweat in without feeling soggy. It's also important that the style is casual enough for a bare face because I never wear makeup. How can I upgrade my style?
