TO issues with too many games

So I’m one of 6 TOs in my local scene and we’re running into an issue of what games to run.

We have a very diverse group of players across multiple games. We host Two tournaments a month (Trad Fighters once a month and Anime Fighters once a month)

The issue is there’s allot of older games that still have a following playing them, new games coming out with allot of hype, and new games coming that people are talking about wanting to play as well.

Currently there’s 8 games for trad fighters and 9 games for anime fighters. There’s only enough space and man power to run 3 games per event (I’ll list the games we’re thinking about at the bottom)

The only game with significantly more numbers is SF6, everything else is pretty much the same ish numbers across the board. GGST was the headliner for anime fighters, but it died down and 2xko started to have a bigger attendance, HOWEVER 2.0 update came out for strive and now its booming again. I think some guidance or advice would be really helpful right now in moving forward.

Here’s a rough draft of what I’m thinking and if there’s a better way please let me know

3 games for Traditional fighters once a month
3 games for Anime fighters once a month
4 games for online brackets (Voting for online brackets once a month, top for games get spread out week by week)

Games we are considering

TRAD FIGHTERS:

Street Fighter 6
Tekken 8
King of Fighters 15
Virtual Fighter 5
Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves
Invincible VS
Marvel VS Capcom 3
Dead or Alive 6

ANIME FIGHTERS:

Guilty Gear: Strive
Marvel Tokkon
2XKO
Under Night In-Birth 2
Melty Blood Type Lumina (Twi)
Grandblue Fantasy Versus
Dragon Ball FighterZ
Avatar
Blazblue Central Fiction

I stopped playing magic 12 years ago, but my first day at my new job and literally everyone there plays commander together in their downtime so I’m getting back into it.

I love azorius decks and I started on mirrodin so I also love artifact decks. So when I saw urza was a thing now I immediately knew who my commander was. Thing is I’m lost on what win cons and general artifacts I should have in my deck are. I don’t mind spending a little bit, but it’s pretty casual so I don’t wanna show up with some 600 dollar deck to blow everyone out of the water.

So here’s what I’ve roughly got.
Commander: Urza lord protector

Mightstone and weakstone (for urza planeswalker)
Dovin, architect of law
Tezzeret the seeker

Beyond that, I just have counters, scry, proliferates, and search deck for artifact cards

I’d like to keep it azorius but I am open to leaning away from artifacts if need be (especially since later I might build an artifact deck based on mirrodin since that’s the block that made me love artifacts)
I’m also open to splashing a third color if it needs it. I like American decks as well.

I’m contemplating removing dovin cause I don’t really need to tap opponents stuff if I’m just gonna board wipe with urza. But I’m also open to making dovin my commander and leaning more into detain.

I’m also not super thrilled about tezzerets price tag, but he is a really cool card so im contemplating buying the bullet on him if I do stick with artifacts.

I just need a little guidance or help with this I just wanna make something fun and cool, not too bad and not too busted. This is my first time trying to play commander and it’s a little overwhelming but fun.
