What can I do for this other than a paint job?

Hey. Im planning to sell this car, if the car has paint it will lose value even though it would look better than it is now lol. The paint is damaged because of sunlight, what can I do other than painting?

What to do/avoid when buying 2nd hand octavia?

Hey everyone, Im looking to change my mazda3 Diesel due to reliability issues that caused me to spend so much money on the car recently and Im interested in buying an Octavia, mostly 2015-2020 1.6TDI as they are the most popular where I live.

What is your experience with this model? What can I expect from it? And what should I avoid? How much mileage is too much when buying second hand? I have no knowledge of skoda at all so I don't want to miss something important. Coming from mazda will I experience something very different?

EDIT: I mostly want to know what gets broken a lot in this car over time. And which engine is the most reliable.

Thank you for your help.

What can be the problem with my car?

Hey so I have a 3rd Gen 1.5D mazda3, I took it to mazda dealership last week for a dpf cleaning because it didnt regen on its own. They told me my cat converter is cracked and they can weld it, and I also have a faulty injector so they replaced it with a used one.

I took the car on friday so they were closed on weekend, but I noticed an issue with my i-stop: the car istop timer is increasing if you come to a stop but the engine stays on, And it always shows "not ready".

Next day I had to take a roadtrip and the car was perfectly fine but then while on the highway my dpf light came on (they did full cleaning 2 days ago and I drove the car twice after). I kept driving for 1-2hrs and it still was one. I decided to unplug the battery in a gas station and after connecting it I got a christmas tree. My car started suddenly doing emergency braking and acting weird. Today I went to a local mazda mechanic and did a forced regen but the dpf light didnt go away. He reset it manually. He also said maf sensor shows error. When I unplugged MAF sensor the engine gasps and I get all the errors shown in the images. Everytime I unplug it they come together. I really have no idea whats going on with the car and I asked few mechanics they all didnt say anything. He also checked the battery it says "11.5 Normal" while car is off. He said you may have a faulty injector and its causing all these electronic issues. Which sounds dumb but Idk...

Has anyone had similar issues? I really need some advice. Thank you.

Is my Mazda3 unreliable or am I just unlucky?

Hello, I have a mazda3 1.5D 2016 that I bought at 125,000km. I used the car for few months and I was so satisfied with it. I drive it 50km when I go to work each day. I live in a place where mazdas are rare and not every mechanic can work on them.

2 months ago the car suddenly got into limp mode, I went to a mechanic I know and he said its just the dpf and he did a forced regen and he reset the error. I used the car like I normally do and a month after that I noticed the coolant boiling and everyone told me my head gasket is blown. So I did that. A week after that the dpf light came on and it started making clicking noise so I just went to the mazda dealership. They scanned and it showed 1 faulty injector that needs changing. We also had to do another dpf regen. And on top of that my catalytic converter is broken as shown in the 2nd image. I think the thermostat was broken from the start and the mechanic just didnt know that.

I'm wondering whether anyone had similar experience. And what do you recommend I do? Is it just unlucky fault or it can get worse? All of this costed me $4-5k (mazda parts are very expensive here). Thank you
