Satsuma citrus leaning to the left

I have a 2.5 years old Owari Satsuma in a 15gal pot. Unfortunately it seems to be leaning to the left side and it is filled with fruits. Should I repot it upright and cut out the left overhang branches and fruits sacrificing them for this year to even out the tree? Zone 10b.

How do I induce more scaffolds?

I have a Manila mango in pot container for now. Bought it as a seedling a few months ago in 5 gal container so I up pot to 15 gal. Plan is to put into ground in 2 years once we relocate to a house. I’m also planning on turning this tree into a multi graft mango (4-6 varieties). The tree was topped by the seller and it has two branches coming off right now. Total height is about 4 feet.

Should I do some pruning of the two branches to induce more scaffolds that I can use for grafting next season?

What’s wrong with my leaves?

I have a 2 year old Sharp Blue berry bush in a 15 gallons pot container (50-50 mix of pine nuggets and peat moss). Consistent watering via drip irrigation and adding epsoma acidifier every 2-3 months. Noticed the leaves started going brown. What are some causes and fixes? I’m in zone 10b and I have another blueberry bush (misty variety) with same exact setup doing great.

Black Manzanita vs Black Madeira?

Trying to figure out which one to air layer for my mom since my trees are second year trees without any ripe figs yet. Are they pretty much similar in taste?

Recommend a simple washing setup for a big family

New to this forum as USA based family with infant and toddler aged kids. Needless to say we do a ton of laundry. I’m trying to get a washing setup that is simple and cost efficient since we do so much laundry.

Our water is hard (250-300ppm). We don’t separate our dark and white clothes. We love scented products so don’t mind scent. The washer is a 19 year old whirlpool top load washer with agitator (not HE). Would the following work?

Kirkland signature or Tide Free & Gentle liquid detergent (or whatever detergent is on sale at Costco)
+
Febu booster
+
Citric acid rinse or Downy Rinse and Refresh

(Do I need to add STTP and if so what is the amount to use for our ppm?)

Trying to keep the washing setup simple so even the spouse can do it. Appreciate any recommendations.

How to prune pummelo?

I’m in zone 10b growing a Tahitian pummelo in my first year, got it from an 4 wind nursery 3 months ago on a semi-dwarf rootstock. Not sure the age of the tree as it was about 18-20” tall when I got it.

I repotted into a 15 gallon pot and it really took off. Currently it’s about 3 feet tall and 3 feet across. I intend on keeping it in a contain for another 2-3 years and then it’ll go into the ground.

  1. do I prune it at the apical tips now to promote a more beach ball shape?
  2. I can’t find any exposed root flare. Dug down enough to see the superficial roots but no flare. Is this a concern?

Kids profile and collection?

After spending the whole week learning Nuvio + AIOs, I finally managed to create my ideal setup. Only thing left to do is to create a profile for my kids similar to a Netflix Kids section. Has anyone attempted to set up something similar to this yet?

Changing iOS devices with Nuvio beta (TestFlight)?

I have my iPad that has access to Nuvio beta using TestFlight. Everything is working great but the iPad is very slow (about 8 years old) so I’m looking to buy another iPad. If I upgraded to a newer iPad (same appleID), will I be able to get back on Nuvio beta on the new device or am I locked into this one for now?

Yellow spots on leaves

Saw yellow spots showing on several leaves of my tomato plants (Cherokee carbon, Kellogg’s breakfast, sweet 100, sun gold). I have been spraying copper past 2 weeks. Location is California zone 10b. What else can I do to stop this disease? Watering is done via drip irrigation (no splash). Mulch with pine nuggets.

Dishwashing tips to ensure cleaning?

I have an older Whirlpool dishwasher which seems to work well most of the time. However it'll struggle when we have a heavier load. We are using the Cascade Platinum Plus pods from Costco. Wondering what tips/tricks you guys have to help the dishwasher do its job in term of detergent/aids?

Expected yield for a 10-15 ft tree?

I’m in zone 10b California. Due to space limitations will only be able to plant about one mango tree. I plan on doing a multi graft to get a bunch of different varieties. I don’t want the tree to get too tall due to difficulty pruning and harvesting. How much yield should I expect for a 10-15ft tree?

Rootstock : Manila

Planned grafts : Sweet Tart, Orange Sherbet, Maha, M4, Peach Cobbler, CAC, Valencia Pride

My ruby red grapefruit tree was put in the ground earlier this year after spending 2 year in a container. I noticed these leaves discolorations this past month (same with my other two mandarins in containers). I’m in Southern California 10b within the HLB quarantine zone. Do I have HLB or is this a nutrition deficiency?
