Ignore the Atrocious enclosure, this sweet Ball Python isnt my snake, instead belongs to a friends family, said friend might be taking him in.
I was wondering if anyone could id have no history on him and considering that person treatment of their pets i was worried he was spider complex
I (15) recently got a BRB (his names optimus)
And he is not wanting to eat anything offered
I have a feeling its a mix of new place + The fact that hes shed, hes not been acting lethargic at all and I think looks quite healthy, I've been offering him a pinkie every day at around 11- 2 am which is when we're both awake usually
Im not too worried about him starving as he ate about 3 weeks ago (before we got him) and according to his breeder stole several of his siblings pinkies and ate about five
But I do want to know what to look out for/ any tips on getting him to actually eat as all he seems intrested in is striking at my tongs, I have ended up letting him on the head with his mouse for five minutes and he just bleps at me
I got a BRB as a 15th birthday gift a few days ago and thought I'd share what his enclosures currently looking like from the first day i got him!, His names is optimus prime!, he also bit me for the first time today lmao

I am getting a BRB in the coming weeks (not my first snake dw) but im wondering if a Halogen bulb or Deep heat projector would be better for him I already have a UVB set up for him so light/UV isn't an issue
