Since I'm on the road tomorrow, I'm celebrating the best movie ever made tonight, om Big Trouble in Little China eve. Approximatly 600 times watching it and there will never be anything like it.
The enemy punished the Buffs and thought they had 'em stumped. But no! These Buffs had war movie expertice! And they suffered terribly. One Buff officee recalls one of his men in the company shot in the gut and crying with his last breath "I'll never get to know the runtime of General Slim's feint in Burma" before he slipped beneath the water. But now Buffs everywhere know the run time: about 2 months. And hopefully we'll get to watch the film very soon. It's e entitled Operation Extended Capital: Slim's Feint (1945, about 86,400 minutes). Can you even imagine a more tragic scenario than dying before you get to find out what the run time of your own movie is?
