For years now I’ve joked about being a part time lesbian and part time straight guy. It works but I dont have a way to describe myself on enby days which is most of them. And Im honestly just trying to find a new flag to wave.

Among other queer people I sometimes say Im gynosexual and panromantic but i know gyno and androsexual arent really widely accepted. Because I can see myself dating a man while only wanting to be intimate with women GNC people I sometimes use polysexual or bisexual but I think that implies a lot less preference than I have.

Idk, any ideas? For people who exclusively like ine gender what terms do you use?

I wasn’t sure about the decision to move pride from the gayborhood to the parkway and while the security was poorly handled I enjoyed the main event but my partner and I wanted to support businesses in the traditional heart in the gayborhood and had tickets to Franky Bradleys that night. We weren’t able to get there.

We walked south on 13th street only to realize that we suddenly became packed in like sardines as barricades forced huge groups of people into the sidewalk, not because cars were allowed to go the streets were blocked of so only cops could be there. After pushing past the tight throng of people we eventually made it to 13th and chancellor only to find that the intersection was blocked by a dozen bike cops on each side of the street. I asked if we could cross and the cops called us lazy and told is to push past the throng back tracking several blocks in the wrong direction which caused my partner and I to get separated several times before I eventually got a migraine (pride on the parkway didn’t allow metal water bottles) and gave up and went home.

I understand closing the streets for cars during pride, I even walked in the parade that morning in the street, but blocking it of so no cars nor pedestrians could even cross 13th street between Sansom and pine felt like it served no purpose other than to create a dangerous situation.
