hello, i have a DSI and it's modded, i wanted to play Mario 64 DS but the D-Pad is real bad with 3D games, especially 3D games.

there is a rom hack for the game which adds analog controls to use with a controller, but that hack would be a waste of my DSI since the hack is emulator only.

i know there was an add-on to put around your finger so it would work like the DS touch-pencil, and you used the touch screen as the analog to move around freely.

but first: i don't know the price of that, nor if it's easy to find

second: i don't want to buy a thing that it's maybe, idk, 10 bucks? 20? that i can use for one single game and then never use it again and leave it in the dust. unless it works universaly and it's atleast comfy to play with every game.

im talking about the pc port from 2023

i saw on the github page that it's possible to mod but it didn't work for me, any ideas?

dang, even a remake in the SMW engine would be great.

yeah im askin this because usb loader gx won't work for some reason and im trying to update it but the app itself is installed in the console memory, not a sd card.

i saw just a lot of custom themes for both games but never custom coded npcs, items, powerups, enemies, or mechanics. just visual changes

it is even possible at all to mod custom stuff into the game that isn't a theme?

hello, when i boot up usb loader, it either softlocks on the "initializing usb" screen, or go to the menu but no games appear at all.

first it always softlocked on the initializing usb screen.

when i changed usb it loaded beyond that screen but when in the selection menu, there were no games or programs, not even the pre-installed ones on the wii

the root of my usb is: (D:wbfs)

inside wbfs are the games in wbfs format, the games also have custom art covers thanks to wii backup manager.

im stranded, i searched and troubleshoted on some forums and didn't find many peoples having the same problem as mine. any help is appreciated, thanks
