Made a completely free and ad free music player app

Little bit of a back story:

When I started digging into design and programming stuff on high school, I started a little design of a music player. Mainly because all the players available at the time were either poorly designed, had ads, or worked perfectly but the design language wasn't my kind of thing. So when I finally finished it, I decided why not to try building it.

Well it took something about 2,5 years to pull this off. Even made it as my graduation project to push myself forward with the development. And today it has 1K downloads on Google Play and recently I got my first donation.

Didn't even think it would go this far, and that people would actually like it, but here we are.

I'd love to hear what other developers think. I haven't received much user feedback despite the downloads, so if anyone is willing to try it out and share some honest feedback, good or bad, I would really appreciate it.

Just passed 1K downloads!

It started as a simple graduation project, so I honestly didn’t expect it to go this far. Seeing real people install it (and actually use it) is really nice.

Also got my first donation, which was unexpected but really motivating. It’s a small thing, but it makes the whole project feel real now.

Still a lot to improve, but I’m happy with the progress so far.

So...what do yall use instead of Copilot after June 1st?

I tried searching all forums and questions here but didnt find some proper answers. So what do you all use as the alternative to these ridiculous prices?

Quite an upgrade from the base S23

Because my S23 battery was starting to swell, I needed a new phone. Well, here it is. I wonder how long it will take me to get used to that size.

Searching for an upgrade from Galaxy S23

My Galaxy S23's battery has started swelling, so I'm finally looking for an upgrade. My budget is 900€.

I've been leaning toward the S25 since I'm already in the Samsung ecosystem (Galaxy buds, tags, watch) and I like OneUI, but I'm open to trying something different if it's worth it, I'm not fixed to Samsungs.

Camera is a big priority - I shoot mostly landscapes, architecture, portraits, and concerts. Battery life is also important since the S23's 3,900 mAh wasn't cutting it for me.

Any ideas which phone should be enough?

My copper golem just likes to be outside

I got copper golem in my house. Apart from the thing he is just chilling in there and sometimes he has a difficult time to find the right chest, he wants to be outside. But not anywhere, he specifically climbs this tree in front of my house and goes to the highest spot. I find that hilarious and cute at the same time. Any ideas why is he doing that?

Lost my ULT WEAR and never want Sony again. Any recommendations?

For past 1 year I had mine Sony ULT WEAR. Don't get me wrong, the sound when connected via Bluetooth was great and everything, but the battery started to drop really quickly and when I tried to connect them via jack, the audio was lame. And I won't even speak about the build (plastic) quality. So I need some recommendations to replace those.

Budget and location - My budget is somewhere around 250€ (but always glad it is lower). I'm gonna by them here in Czech Republic.

Source/Amp - Don't care if it will be a Bluetooth ones or jack 3.5. I will primarily use them on my phone and then laptop

How the gear will be used - Solid quality ANC is welcome. I'm gonna use them pretty much for everything - travel, studying, gaming (though I play only racing games and etc.), so I would like some pretty good ANC.

Preferred tonal balance - I'm gonna say I'm a bass head (on ULT Wear I had always on the most powerful ULT mode) but if the other frequencies get compromised severly, I won't like it.

Preferred music genres - Drum and Bass (Dancefloor, Liquid, Melodic). Bass and Stutter House here and there, overall EDM.

Past gear experience - ULT Wear as I said earlier. I really liked the bass and the overall sound of them, even though sometimes they played the same song differently in different environment for some reason.
