Is there anything you miss from Duel/The Haunted House you wish they kept for Alton Manor?

The title speaks for itself.

I'm well aware that the majority of fans prefer Alton Manor to Duel by a long shot, and I'm in the minority preferring the former, but Curse feels like it's lacking a lot of magic and quirkiness Duel and The Haunted House shared, as both shared pretty much the same scenes and props up until they were taken out during the retheme to Alton Manor.

So yeah, was there anything from Duel you wish Towers kept and reused for Curse? Personally, I miss the old Trommel Scene with the Mouth Of Hell and the stone brick walls. The current scene just looks so flat and bland compared to what it replaced, that and the Flying Demons in the Dining Hall.

Right, time to see what all the fuss is about.

I've never listened to Jeff Waynes musical, but I've heard a lot of good things about it! So I went down to my local Vinyl shop and found an 1978 original release! I'll let you all know my thoughts on it when I've listened to it!

Old Fighting Machine design from my college days

Hi everyone. I was digging through some old boxes and I found some old art I did for my time back in College.

As most of you can probably tell, It's a Tripod design heavily inspired by Henrique Alvim Correa's design. From what I can remember, I wanted it to look a lot less cartoon esque than his initial design/ I removed the eyes in favor for a single circular spotlight (Like the 2005 Design). That and I replaced the camera laser for a more organic approach with the laser located in its arm/tendril, now retractable that would come out in a flower-bloom like fashion.

I also tried a couple of designs for the feet until finally sitting with the lower, more mechanical ones over the organic looking ones. The legs were given a more tendril like look as well, removing the joints all together.

Additional details were added to the Main head, such as bolts, vents, small lights located under the roof, etc.
