Help deciding on RO system

I’m currently trying to find an under sink RO system. The two leading options right now for me are

  1. iSpring

  2. water drop

The appeal to me for the iSpring is the cost, and the mineralization phase. I have the space for the tank, but it does seem nice to have a tankless system. The water drop gives me that for not a ton more money. But that one does not have a mineralization phase from what I can tell. Waterdrop also has the NSF 372 rating which it doesn’t look like the iSpring has. Any input or experience on these systems is greatly appreciated.

If it’s relevant, I’ll also likely be using this 2 in 1 faucet, which I think these are compatible with but if someone knows otherwise please LMK. faucet

How do I properly clean my pan

My pan looks like this after cooking, scrubbed it pretty well but can’t get the rest to come off. Along with that, how do I prevent this from happening?

Opinions on dual faucets for RO system?

I purchased an under sink RO system, and can’t drill another hole in my counter top. I have found these types of faucets as a possible solution, do they work well or is it more of a gimmick? Does anyone have any experience with them? Ideally I’d also like to find one NSF certified to be lead free.

A faucet similar to this that is NSF certified?

I am installing a reverse osmosis filter under my sink, trying to avoid drilling another hole in the counter top. I found this faucet that seems like a viable replacement to my main faucet. However from what I can find it is not NSF certified to be lead free, which feels like it defeats the purpose of the filter. Is there something similar anyone can recommend?

CO detector recommendations?

Not sure if this is an acceptable question here, but I want to upgrade my CO detectors to something with a digital display and ideally a low level alarm. I found this one that seems ok but I see mixed opinions about Kidde, and I’m also not sure if a combo alarm like this works as well. Any input is appreciated.

Do neilmed sinus rinse bottles need to be cleaned before first use?

Cutting board for an average person

I currently have cheap plastic cutting boards, and my main goal is to get away from that to avoid microplastics, VOC’s, etc. I have found that end grain maple/walnut boards are the best choice, but they are also not cheap. I’m cooking a few times a week, and really just want something I can feel confident won’t be leaking toxins into my food, and won’t fall apart after a few uses. Is there a middle ground between my cheap plastic ones and an expensive end grain board that will still do a decent job and not break the bank ?

Should I watch a summary of OG FF7 before rebirth?

Just finished remake, jumped into chapter 1 of rebirth today. I feel like there’s all these subtle nods that things aren’t happening how they are meant to, and when the big reveal happened at the end of remake, it didn’t really hit for me until I looked it up after because I have no context of the original game. I don’t really have interest in playing OG, but is it worth knowing the story to get the most impact out of rebirth and eventually revelations? Iv also been saving reunion for after revelations, not sure if that’s the right way to go.

Looking for single player 1v1 action game

I’m looking for something that has really fun 1v1 mono e mono type boss fights (doesn’t need to be a boss rush game). Games that do this well Iv played are things like Sifu, the DMC games, all the soulsborne games, etc. Ideally something single player, I played Street fighter for the longest time but competitive pvp games just aren’t my thing right now.
