Can’t Meditate peacefully anymore, Help?
I used to be able to meditate especially for an hour. I haven’t been able to meditate at all recently and negative thoughts are always chasing me weather I focus on breath or keep my eyes closed.
I’ve researched on how to stop thinking while meditating and came across a video. Explaining It’s kinda of like when you have pauses while talking. You need to recognize that pause and stay there.
But my mind keeps going random thoughts pop up and it’s getting to the point where I rarely meditate.
I also do visualizing and take myself to a sacred place which works sometimes. I try and imagine th place peaceful and still kind of like a pond or waterfall…
Does anyone have any insight or tips? I honestly miss doing it peacefully..
