I'm torn. Should I use this for spirit or 4 ists

I already have a 35 monarch, but I'm currently using a rhyme for MF. I also have 675 mf on swap currently, but with 4 ists it would be 750. I know MF has diminishing returns and 400 is more than enough, but I like big numbers.

But at the same time, if I can roll 35 on this it would be very sexy.

Was I in the wrong?

TLDR: I got done really late because supervisor did not communicate important details. He was upset we took so long and I called him out.

Tonight I was closing carts, and it happened to be a wash night. I don’t know how it works at other stores, but at my store that means you empty the patio and corrals of all the carts and you line them up in the fire lanes to be washed.

Normally, we would fill the patio and the corrals and lock them. So quite the opposite of what you would do on a wash night. However, the supervisor did not tell us it was a wash night until 15 minutes before close. We ended up being way behind because of this.

We ended up getting done 10 minutes after our scheduled time, which honestly I am very surprised we managed to pull that off, given the last-minute switch up. But the supervisor was upset with us that we took so long.

I told him “if you had told us it was a wash night sooner, we would have gotten done a lot faster.”

He said, “idk who I talked to on the radio, but I let them know around 7.”

I said “I’m the one you talked to and it was 8:15 when you told us.” basically calling him out on his BS.

All he said was “ok” then he walked away, visibly annoyed.

Should I have not called him out? Should I have let him treat us like incompetent employees, even tho us getting done when we did was practically a miracle? Will this come back to haunt me?

This might be a dumb question

But does my pay increase happen immediately or do I have to wait until next pay period? I'm going into the current pay period with only 9 hrs till my raise

Checking my total hours worked

I know I can check my paystubs and itll show me my ytd hours worked, but that's only for the current year. If I want to know the total hours I have to go to previous years and add it all up. Is there a better way to do this?

Map complete tips and tricks

I just finished my 20th map complete, and I wanted to share some tips and tricks I learned along the way. Some of these may seem obvious, but a few of them didn't click for me right away, so maybe you'll learn something too.

  1. If you get an option to swap IPs, hold onto it. When you come across a Heart you can't finish right away, swap IPs. You'll have a fresh map with new enemies and items to collect to finish the Heart.
  2. If a Heart asks you to kill a certain mob and you have minions of any kind, you can AFK in a spot those enemies spawn. Your minions will eventually finish the Heart for you.
  3. Be ranged with high mobility. I like to do it on mechanist because they have range with decent dps, high mobility, and the mech to afk kill mobs.
  4. Use every tool at your disposal. Get all the mounts, fully upgrade your jade bot, get the position rewinder and white mantle portal device. All of these things will make your run go a lot smoother.
  5. If you are not dedicated to a full run, at least get the annoying hearts out of the way on your downtime. There are a dozen different hearts that take forever to finish. If you get them done before a dedicated run, you'll thank yourself later.
  6. If you have a lot of testimonies, and don't mind spending them, buy all the hero points in Core Tyria. There are nearly 200 HPs and stopping to commune with each one takes time. Save yourself the time and trouble.
  7. If you start getting burnt out, focus maps that don't have Hearts such as cities and all of Orr.
  8. Map complete is a marathon, not a race. Try to do 1 or 2 zones a day. Often times I tried sprinting thru it and found myself stopping around 70% because I burned out.
  9. And finally, download Blish Hud. It's easy to use and will cut your run time in half.

If you have anything to add, I'd love to hear it.
