Absolutely loved base game Raiders it was my surprise favorite game on the Switch 2 but I’m really struggling with the post game Bottomless Buffet and Super Spicy raids that are level 55+. At first, I was dying and now I’m running out of time on everything.

Over the course of my last 10 hours played, I haven’t gotten a single level 50 5 star primo weapon. I have gotten 3 gold 4 star primo weapons and just last night, my first 5 star level 50 weapon but not both. I held out so long on upgrading my gold 4 star primos but I just wasn’t doing any damage so I bit the bullet and upgraded one to 60 and didn’t see much help.

Last night, I decided to join players on keyword “Splatoon” and got carried through about 15 bottomless buffet floors. That’s when I got the level 50 5 star dual shooters. I upgraded these to level 60 too but these do absolutely no damage as well on anything level 55+.

After failing and dying so much, I upgraded the level 50+10 5 star dailies another 10 levels to level 70 and now I’m out of shards to upgrade my weapons further (both the regular currency and the rare shard currency for the later upgrades) and still doing nothing.

Playing tactical only helps a bit but I don’t like being forced into that playstyle and I’m just so bummed the game has switched up so much since my experience with the base game. Any tips? Do I really need to get a level 50 5 star primo and then put everything in that to be successful and if so, where can I find one? Any help would be appreciated because I loved my first 25 hours with this game but I just haven’t loved my last 10. I really want to see the true ending and start helping people online myself

Does anybody know if there are any continued active developments on a Linux version of wand? There are so many grindy singleplayer games that I want to play on my Steam Machine but I keep switching back to my PC for use of mods and today, the 2 hour limit really hit me at a tough point. I think $70 a year is a little on the expensive side for what is essentially trainers I could download online but if they can get it working for Steam Deck and SteamOS, my wallet would be wide open lol. Any updates here?

I don’t want to beat the dead horse on this sub since we all relatively understand the performance and what this is capable of. Essentially, if you have your expectations in check, the Steam Machine will not disappoint you!

I am on day 2 and in the middle of my first play through on the Machine (playing Uncharted 4) and I have noticed 2 issues:

1. My machine has randomly woke from sleep twice. I want to experiment with this further and figure out if it’s a my setup issue or a Steam Machine issue. Definitely something I want to prioritize because I don’t want it waking up and then running my paused game on full blast if I’m away all day.

2. Games that don’t have a “pause on focus” option like Uncharted are absolutely tanking multitasking performance with light tasks like scrolling through my library. I’m aware I can fix this by installing Decky “Pause Games” but I think it’s time Valve implement an official option now that the Steam Machine is out. Uncharted is running around 105 frames in the pause menu and I can barely do anything else on the machine when getting out of the game. The “pause games” on focus loss tool is a bit controversial because it can cause issues however my experience with it on the deck is phenomenal and I would love to be given the choice officially from Valve to toggle it on and off per game.

Overall, the machine is awesome though and is meeting all of my expectations!
