XBOX 25th-anniversary on Game Pass

Xbox is giving more visibility to its 25th-anniversary celebration on Game Pass exclusively on console.

Wouldn't it make even more sense to extend that visibility to PC Game Pass?

After all, it is are more likely to find and re-engage players from previous generations also on PC.

Has Anyone Tested the New Xbox Cloud Sync Management on Console?

Since the new Xbox console update, it is possible to see cloud synchronization information if the game is installed, but not yet if the game has only been played via the cloud. As of today, it is easier to access all the saved game information in the cloud through the Xbox mobile app.

Has anyone tried how cloud sync management works through the console?

Do you think it will finally be possible to have all the information unified across both console and PC?

XBOX direct communication

Do you think Xbox will ever communicate directly from the console or from the Xbox PC app? Or at least open a Reddit account? 😅 It would be nice to have Asha around here.

Remote Play is gaining visibility

While a Wi-Fi icon appeared on the home page of the cloud gaming web app a few days ago, the Remote Play icon now appears instead, allowing for more direct access to the feature. It will be interesting to see if those icons will be customizable from the settings in the future, allowing users to choose which option best suits them to simplify access.

Can the Winhanced app show what Helix will look like?

The Winhanced app manages to launch games directly through the Remote Play feature (it has implemented PlayStation and will do so with Xbox) min 7:36. https://youtu.be/tenzeLSZ8wQ

The app's menu knows whether a game is installed on the console or not. This leads me to ask myself two things:

Could the native Xbox PC app do the same?

And even more interestingly, could Project Helix's interface also be used by any PC with an Xbox console on Remote Play, giving the user a system that unifies console and PC?

There was a time when we believed that the full-screen experience would be exclusive to the Xbox ROG Ally, but fortunately, any PC can enjoy it.

It would be a dream come true if we could enjoy a unified system without having to invest in a new generation that promises exorbitant prices.

Default streaming provider on XBOX PC app

I'm not sure if it was already in previous versions of the Xbox PC app, but now the settings menu allows you to choose a default option for xCloud streaming. However, the option does not appear on the Xbox web app yet.

Future of the remote play on XBOX

Now that Xcloud, or Xbox Cloud Gaming, is starting to converge user experiences whether from the web app version or the PC app version, the question remains: what will happen to the Remote Play option in the future?

I have found that launching Remote Play from a PC does not display the same launch message as from the Xbox web app. While the web app refers to connecting to the console, the PC app has changed its terminology and connects to Cloud Gaming as if connecting to the console from a PC were a thing of the past.

How do you see it? Is it simply two Xbox teams working in parallel, or will the Remote Play option with the arrival of Helix only be for "older" consoles?

Should Xcloud Adopt Netflix's Mobile Features?

Innovation is great, but until you make it happen, at least match the best.

Netflix offers today a virtual controller on the mobile and a fast option to connect to multiplayer games.

Do you think xCloud should incorporate the same solution?

Remote Play now looks more like xCloud

Now, when accessing a game in Remote Play, a message and a progress bar appear while the game loads. It is not a huge change, but it is another step in the right direction and, above all, it is confirmation that the team is also still working on Remote Play.

Gears of War: E-Day a great opportunity for xCloud?

Following XBOX's decision to focus on its console, offering Gears E-Day as a console exclusive on Xbox alongside skyrocketing hardware prices due to the RAM memory crisis, Xcloud becomes a great opportunity to access the game.

The key data regarding the technical situation for this game is the minimum and recommended PC requirements:
* NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 or RTX 3060 Ti
* AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT or Radeon RX 9060 XT

Source: https://store.steampowered.com/app/3010850/Gears\_of\_War\_EDay/

And the fact that the majority are concentrated on models such as the GTX 1650, RTX 3050, or standard RTX 3060 and only 25% of the active market owns graphics cards equal to or higher than those required.

Do you think this opportunity could be a paradigm shift for Xcloud users?

What key features should the service include to finally convince the most skeptical (including Matthew Ball😅), and above all, will they be able to reach native 4K for the game's launch, considering that the current ceiling is at 1440p?

Cloud save sync from a local game XBOX PC?

Does anyone know if it's possible to force a cloud save sync from a local game XBOX PC?

It usually happens automatically, but it hasn't synced in days.

I know you can delete the xCloud cloud saves from the web app, but I'm not sure if that would have any effect on the Xbox PC app sync.

Xcloud on xbox 360?

I've seen some posts where Xbox One boots up with the new Xbox logo, and it made me wonder if Xbox is supporting older generations to celebrate its 25th anniversary.

Does anyone know if it's possible to play xCloud from an Xbox 360? (I still have mine, and it never got the Red Ring of Death)

Capture & Share in Xbox PC app with OneDrive

Hi

On Xbox Series consoles, there is a built-in option to share image and video captures via OneDrive. I have been trying to achieve the same result using the share feature in the Xbox PC app, but without much success.

The best I have been able to do is manually sync the captures folder with OneDrive, but this is not an optimal solution when using multiple gaming devices with a single OneDrive account.

I'm curious to know how you go about getting that console-like experience on PC.

Integrating xCloud into the Xbox PC App

Since the new Xbox PC app update, it is possible to add other applications to the library. One of the possibilities is adding the xCloud web app to run it directly from the Xbox PC app menu.

“Jump back in” for Xcloud in Xbox PC app

I have noticed that the "Jump back in" bar in the Xbox app for PC only appears if there is at least one game installed; as soon as the last title is uninstalled, the bar disappears completely.

The strange thing is that this section doesn't just show local games, it also displays xCloud titles. This creates an issue where, if you don't have anything installed, you lose direct access to cloud games from that bar.

Does anyone know if there is a way to change this condition so the section doesn't depend on local installations?

When Asha, in one of her first statements as CEO of Xbox, said she wanted to reclaim the spirit of the renegades from the original Xbox, the first thing I thought was that she was moving to Europe.

In my opinion, few things embody that renegade spirit more than being an Xbox consumer in the region most dominated by PlayStation, second only to Japan.

Do you think Asha should push marketing and social presence more in Europe?
