A funny thing I thought about when exploring her character. I think she is a "maybe" in cooking, she is capable of cooking memosnatchers (looking at you, judge of oblivion) but actual food? Maybe she starts struggling here, she is not human. She doesn't do eating. Unless March is hungry, Evernight would probably steal or oven March an instant noodles, or try to cook from memories, the food would end up as a memory cluster or a painfully, mathematically accurate food that barely smells like it was made by a human. It's so mathematically accurate that even The Herta can calculate the right side of the food.

I'm going to yap about Castorice's lore and Theme with other extra stuffs!
Castorice, our beloved Maiden Of Death and the character she's supposed to represent: "The Beauty of Death" is such an unappreciated character from the fandom, it's making me sad.
Born with the curse of death and golden blood, people already saw her as a "Goddess", even though it wasn't baby Castorice's fault, baby Castorice was born ultimately human-like with powers she never asked for. The humans saw her as a divine blessing from Thanatos and Already made her an executor to give trembling humans "Peace" (or Death)
Castorice DID grew up with the philosophy believing "Death is the best way to say goodbye" but it also came with a cost; she can only say goodbye, but never say hello (a.k.a hold someone's hand normally without them fading to ashes and making her feel like she was the reason why they died)
It pained her a lot and gave her a highly logical reason to isolate herself within the Nether Realm so she can never kill humans and carry their greifs. And isolating herself also made her very shy and polite, unable to understand basic human socialization. Afterall, it's a part of her character and makes her VERYY beautiful as she is associated with a concept that makes thing temporary (Death), so when everything is temporary or fades faster than you could catch it, of course you won't understand it at the first glance. Not only that, I'm glad that they didn't give Castorice's twin "Anaxa Sister Treatment" and also added lore to Castorice's sister, Pollux, aswell! I love how pollux sacrificed herself to become a dragon and the right hand for Castorice to help her. It shows that Castorice isn't so invincible and needs help sometimes. I also love the fact that Pollux is the only person who'll stay beside Castorice forever even if human fleets away like flowers.
Not only that. She held off well against the Flame reaver, showing independencey and the willing to not back down or give her life that'll cause more dangers. Even her minor under-appreciated details; Castorice helping Anaxagoras. Her interactions with social characters like Tribbie and Hyacine etc etc.
I love her hobbies too (like making plushies of others or making fanfics) it makes an awesome remark on her personality and character.
I love her dragon too, Pollux is so cool.
And about her design,
I think it blends well between "Intidimating Grim Reaper" and "Princess" alongside some human anatomy. It's one of my top favourite designs at time. I love how she wears bones over her body, flowers, butterfly patterns, and not to mention, some of her outfit or fabrics are burnt.
Despite the complaining of "detached sleeve and skirt" I love how strongly she represents death, her crown makes sense as she is the maiden of death, and the bandages that warp deadbodies when humans pass out.
Conclusion: Castorice is so well written, I hate how some fans call her "waifu-bait" just because Castorice touched TB's hand. It doesn't even make sense. After decades of isolation, Castorice finally felt what people called "Warmth", but since Castorice was always surrounded by darkness and cold, she easily forgets how that warmth felt like, which makes sense. But it also gave her a feeling of curiousity to find out more about human warmth, obviously she would be touching TB's hand just to feel the warmth again. I love her character and her companion's boss fight, it's just so underrated. I wish she appeared more tho
His hype was UNREAL, I literally fell in love with him the moment I saw his face, and his new resign!! I couldn't wait for his animation leaks and was SOOO excited that I kept refreshing the page. After nearly four years, Mitya was the second character that also made me go feral.
Not only that, I was so crazed that i saved ANY pic that contained wanderer/his fanarts at a concerning speed.
I couldn't wait for his story aswell, literally skipped my evening study just to countdown it.

I'm going to Yap about her lore, theme, characterization etc etc
First of all, I love LOOOVVVEEE her theme. It's so cutesy and whimsy but if you look deeper, it scummbs to divinity and fighting against a form of divinity (a.k.a Aquila for Hyacine's case) that deletes casual human emotions and rejects vunrablity.
For my case, Hyacine actually feels more "Human-like" to me compared to all other Chrysos heirs, I mean.. afterall, Hyacine is meant to represent the "Beauty Of Weakness", despite being 'unworthy' and doubted by her own people and ancestors. Hyacine completely proved them wrong by taking the trial of sky demigod. She protected the City Of Okhema from the Black Tide and literally MELTED her physical form to become the new incarnation of the Sky Titan (and her "blood" turned into rainbow to protect people aswell! Angel frfr)
Love how she didn't went for a "I'm gonna aurafarm and face my opponent alone" as she too acknowledged herself that she's a "fragile mortal" and took both trailblazer and Phainon with her to fight the titan (oh how much I miss 3.3)
Aquila expected a divine goddess. But they got a fragile mortal who is capable of facing divinity AND surviving it, not through power, but through understanding.
And I love how she's one of the few chrysos heir with a visible, clear "family stories", she represents the human's age limit and how they evolve over time perfectly.
And for her personality, she's so sweet! I love her as much as I love Barbara. Instead of minding or rejecting the Pegasus Ica, She took Ica in AND manages it's food intake perfectly despite other locals saying they couldn't afford Ica's food. Another minor detail of her is that she reacts defensively like Anaxagoras when faced with an uncomfortable fact. I love her relationship between Anaxagoras and others like Tribbie/Castorice/Aglea/Phainon.
Design wise? I love her outfit wardrobe too, but I wish there was more bubble theme/Rainbow over her outfit beside just strawberry pink and cyans.
Her farewell made me shed tears as she knew that she would be eaten by divinity but chose to do it because her empathy over humans was bigger than the universe.
Conclusion: it's really sad how she's so underrated like this and many knows her because of the fight against aquila and proi proi. Hyacine is a chad fr, hoping to see her more in the future. And so happy she got a skin too! She's one of my beloved pink hair beside Evernight and Cyrene.
