So when I was scrolling through Threads. And there is a post saying that redeem the code or scanning the QR Code can get those rewards, at first I really curious how this works, and I scan QR Code and got me into LINE. Then the second picture is most likely a bot that tells me to give out the phone number then they will send it to my account.

But the thing is Battle Cats doesn't even have codes redeem. I went to research something to make sure if this LINE account is whether true or not.

Turns out, PONOS doesn't have a line account and there is no codes redeem section. And this type of things most likely a scam.

For years my favourite ship in this game has been the Kongō. She's not the best, particularly in the accuracy department, but she's fast, hits hard, has decent armour, and has some ridiculous range. For a tier V battleship, Kongō feels like absolute overkill. I have 122 battles with a 71% winrate, many of those battles being before Wargaming changed her stats.

And I want to talk about that for a bit.

Prior to the changes to low tier ships, Kongō had one of the highest AP shell damages at her tier. 5 digit salvoes came around decently often and she hit like a truck. Her accuracy wasn't great but when she hits, she hits hard.

And then Wargaming made the change

When the changes to low tier came, many battleships got their ap alpha nerfed and their accuracy improved. And when that change came around, it screwed Kongō over badly. Her AP alpha got nerfed from 10000 to 9200, and despite the accuracy increase to 2.0 sigma, with how inconsistent Japanese dispersion can be, Kongō ended up being so much worse. She had less alpha than other 14 inch gun battleships, and even had lower alpha than some lower caliber guns like the 343s on Iron Duke, which just didn't make sense. Kongō is already really strong in the other departments so this kinda makes sense, but it did make her less comfortable to play.

Despite all of that I still loved the Kongō. The range and speed allowed her to uptier decently and work in many areas that other low tier bbs could not. I did choose to take heavy AP recently and it helped out massively, and I would highly recommend taking it. Even with all the changes, even with +2, -2 matchmaking, and even with the horrible grind from the Myōgi, I still loved the Kongō with all my heart. She's still an excellent battleship and is quite new player friendly, and I would highly recommend trying her out.
