Which generation of Pokémon sprites do you like the most?

Here are some examples of sprites from each generation, along with a few general characteristics. Some are my own opinions, while others (such as color counts) are based on technical limitations and may vary slightly. I chose sprites from the most "advanced" mainline version of each generation, excluding remakes.

Personally, my favorite is Generation V. The animated sprites gave the Pokémon so much life, and I absolutely love pixel art.

What about you?

Best content mod that still feels like vanilla Isaac?

Hello! I've played around 350 hours of the game so far and I absolutely love it. I've already unlocked >!the true ending, unlocked 3 tainted characters, and defeated all the bosses with several characters!<. I also already use quite a few QoL mods.

Recently though, I've been wanting to try some actual content mods that expand the vanilla experience, since I've seen on YouTube that there are many incredibly high-quality ones, and I'd love to add even more variety to my runs.

The problem is that there are just TOO many mods out there, and I don't want to install one of these huge content mods only for the game to stop "feeling" like Isaac. So my question is: what mod (not necessarily one from the image) would you recommend as the best one to install while still staying faithful to Isaac's art style, atmosphere, and gameplay philosophy? Something that almost feels like an official expansion to vanilla Isaac.

(Just to clarify: I currently don't have any other large content mods installed.)

Right now I'd like to try just ONE big content mod and almost forget it's even a mod, and maybe later on install more of them without uninstalling the first one, basically something that blends into the game naturally, almost like official content (and also let me know me which ones would you try later on ;) )

Thanks a lot,
Daalma
