Is this CV good? (27yo)

Hi everyone,
I’d like to ask what you think of my resume. I’m trying to land an entry-level IT manager position at a corporation (smaller teams of 20–40 people).

The resume is 80% AI-generated and 20% hand-edited.

I’m looking for a job after a 6-year hiatus, so I’d like to polish this resume.

Thanks in advance

Every company rejects me. [CZ][DE][IT]

Hello, I’ve been sending my resume to large corporations like Amazon, Microsoft, and Volkswagen for several months now, and despite dozens of applications, I’ve never received an invitation to an interview.

I’m looking for a junior management position in IT (a team of 20–30 people), and I wouldn’t say that I lack experience or don’t have anything attractive to offer.
That’s why I’ve been wondering if the problem lies with my resume rather than my experience.

So I’d like to ask for tips on how to land a position at a large corporation, or if anyone would be willing to take a look at my resume.

Thank you in advance. [CZ]

Need to hear your opinion

Hello,
I hope someone here can give me some useful advice or an objective opinion.

I joined an engineering company’s sales department five years ago, and for the past two years I’ve been working as an IT manager.

I work on interesting projects such as BI/AI integration, EDI, and many others, but what I enjoy most is project management and leading a team.

Since I’ve reached the career ceiling at this company, I’m looking for other opportunities, and Amazon has caught my attention. I’ve been trying to land IT management positions, but so far I haven’t received any responses. The only response I’ve gotten so far is for a T3 Lead Operations Manager position, which is very low in the hierarchy.

I have two options:

  1. Wait and try to land a more interesting position at Amazon through external recruitment
  2. Accept this warehouse position and build a career there internally.

If I accepted this position, my salary would take a hit, but not by a huge amount.

Is it possible to apply internally from l3 position to l5 IT?

So I’d like to ask for your opinion.

Thank you in advance.

Do we have any IT managers here?

Hello everyone,
I was wondering if there are any IT managers here. Since most questions tend to go to area managers, I’d like to start a discussion about IT here.

  1. What position do you hold?
  2. How long did it take you to get to your current position? — internally / externally
  3. What do you enjoy most about your job, and what do you hate the most?
  4. Do you see further career growth in IT at Amazon, or will you use your experience and move elsewhere?
  5. What’s the best and worst job in IT at Amazon?

Feel free to start another discussion on an interesting topic 😊

Auto rejected by Amazon - I’m not interesting for them?

Hello everyone,
I’m here to ask for some advice. Over the past few months, I’ve been interested in job openings at Amazon for the position of area manager in Europe. I like Amazon for its career growth opportunities, salary, benefits, and relocation package.

After giving it a lot of thought, I applied for the Area Manager position, but my application was rejected within 24 hours—and that’s the problem.

My career began in various roles, starting as a project manager, then moving to the business department, and later as an IT manager, where I worked on many interesting projects (KPIs, BI, AI, and many others).

Since I work with clients from multinational companies, I had high hopes that I’d be able to impress them at the interview and that I’d have a better chance of success… but I didn’t even make it to the interview.

One of the requirements for the area manager position was a degree, which I don’t have, but I’ve read many times that this shouldn’t be a problem.

Since being rejected by Amazon, this situation has really been bothering me, especially when I see how easy it is in some cases to land the same position without experience, straight out of school.

So I’d like to ask:
- Is my background not interesting to Amazon, or could there be a mistake in my resume?
- I’m interested in the role of area manager and above—is there another way to get there besides taking a huge pay cut and starting my career from scratch?
- I know I could pursue a career in IT, but I’m not a top-notch programmer, and I don’t want to advance my career in that field. Is there a chance to transition from an IT position to an area manager role later on?

Thanks in advance for your objective opinion :)

Tennis racket recommendations

Hello guys, me and my girlfriend started playing tennis few months ago and till today, we just borrowed rackets from the club.

Now we want to invest into our rackets and need help to pick one. I have searched online and “suitable” for medium level players would be head ig challenge mp.

I’m new to the sport but want to get better. Would it be a good buy or you would recommend something else?

Thank you 🙏
