I was gifted this beautiful gin: looping for cocktail recommendations

I was gifted a nice bottle of Tarquin's rhubarb and raspberry gin. I am curious which cocktails professionals and connoisseurs would recommend me to make with it.

So far I have only used it for a gin & tonic (a mixdrink, not really a cocktail). When going out, I like my negroni's but I don't know if this gin is suited for that? All ideas are very welcome!

What is your favourite jazz radio channel?

I mostly listen to NPO soul & jazz, a Dutch public radio station dedicated to... Well, soul and jazz. They mostly play classics such as Miles Davis, Louis Armstrong, Billie Holiday... But they also play some newer stuff like Amy Winehouse.

The main reason I listen to this channel because it seems to be nice 'all-round' and 'classic', rather than focusing in particular styles of jazz. As a beginner in jazz, it helps me get my footing. Also, since its a public radio station there are no as breaks. Just 24/7 pure music.

Now, I have a jazz radio app with hundreds of jazz specific radio stations from all over the world. So, I'd like to know: what is your favourite jazz radio channel and why?

Thanks in advance!

Weten jullie andere goede broodjes zaken in Arnhem centrum?

Alvast bedankt!

Exercises like the elephant walk?

Hello community,

I have had great success with using the elephant walk to improve my forward fold. I love to build up the intensity by starting with stretching alternating legs, do the movement with both legs simultaneously, and moving into the forward fold.

Are there any similar exercises for different stretches? I mostly struggle with increasing ankle, and adductor flexibility.

Thank you very much in advance!

Wyll is one of the most underrated companions

When people talk about Wyll on this sub, I get the impression that public perception paints him as a rather boring, 'standard' hero-guy. A guy who lacks 'content' and agency in his story.

I used to agree. I tried to romance Wyll once, but was tired of waiting for him so I cheated on him with his Patron. He did not like that.

But... I just completed the Wyrm quest and now my perspective has shifted. The quest is a very unique Zelda-esque dungeon, befitting a Hero. The story you hear while facing the Wyrm gives crucial background info on the main quest. And Wyll shows growth as a character, finding his (new) purpose and learning to rely more on his own abilities. Not boring at all, but meaningful growth by overcoming formidable challenges.

Moreover, the Wyrm quest seems to relate to Wyll as the Gauntlet of Share relates to Shart. Viewed like that, Wyll may actually be one of the companions with the most 'content'. He has the coolest character intro scene of the whole cast blasting and stabbing goblins at the Grove, he is the reason we encounter Karlach, the whole Mizora ordeal has key twists and turns throughout the game (in particular when you meet her, at Moonrise and Wyrm's crossing), his dad is one of the key 'damsels in distress' throughout the story. Man... Just typing it all out like this makes me think I probably missed a few things.

Next play through I will give Wyll a fair shot at romance.

What are your thoughts and experiences with Wyll? I'd love to talk about him.

Who do you think is the most popular character and why?

Based on the number of reddits it may be Astarion, based on the number of mods it may be Shadowheart. I wonder who the most popular character is and why. What do you think? I am curious to hear your thoughts and views.

Hello,

I just worked hard to romance Halsin. Honestly, it feels a bit awkward to romance him after his whole quest is done. It's a bit like he becomes a 2D character because he has no further content in act 3, and his romance thus feels more like a one-night-stand. Compare this with Gale or Shadowheart, whose romances are interwoven with their personal quests.

Does anyone feel the same? Does anyone have good ideas (headcanon, fanfic) or mods to address this?

Thank you for your time
