Suggestions on how to get started?
Currently working as Associate Product Owner. It's been a month at this new company. Joined as a fresher. How does switching work?
What skills / knowledge should I focus now that I have my step into the industry.

25M here.
Well I am currently living in a PG, where it's costing 27k for single sharing (Madhapur) with AC. I wanted to reduce expenditure on stay, so I roamed around a lot and figured out hard way that this is very cheap lmao.
Cause others have 28k to 32k going on without electricity like wtf. At least electricity is included in current one for me.
Moreover worst road, with noisy water tankers passing and dirt all around, that kinda road and PG cost was 24k for single sharing. (With ac)
So someone suggested get gated society. It will help meet northies too cause better social life.
Currently I'm spending : 27k on PG + 2k on gym. So about 29k.
And travelling expenses : 2k per month.
So are there any decent gated societies suggestion? Or any ideas to explore? Cause seems expensive especially when I can't have PG food sometimes cause it's always rice mostly.
I come home after 8. My office timings are 11-8. And so tired that I can't cook. I don't even know how to cook.
Parents against getting random roommate, cause they are like not sure who you might get, if they will be good or not. Personally had bad experience in college myself.
So I need cook and maid for sure. How much does it cost? Is it feasible idea to explore or Pg is best?
2/3BHK is fine if roomates are decent. 1 BHK is best.
So I had a call with my dad yesterday. I recently started my job, and have been living on shreds. It's not like I don't buy when I want to, I just don't spend a lot.
Like yesterday I did buy sugarcane juice but that's it, cause I had bread that I bought and kept at my PG.
Now my DAD asked me my bank balance, I said 5k ( I have 1.5k in reality), dad scolded me for not having enough funds in my bank account, he started lecturing me that if I need urgent money how will I sell stocks. Acc to him I should have min 50,000. And the other day on some other post of mine, a redditor commented having 10L as emergency fund. How can I keep 10L in my bank acc that's not growing?
But both my parents get pension. My brother earns well too. If I need money I'll just ask them? And I don't think they will need money from me, as I am in other city anyway.
In stocks ~ 1.5L
Bank ~ 1.5k
Cash ~ 3k
Now, since I don't spend a lot, isn't it better to make that money grow? Why should I mantain money in my bank, when it's gonna grow at 2-3% only?
I was hoping of keeping everything in stocks and all, so it grows faster.
P.S. Salary & Expenditure per month:
Salary: 78k
Single sharing PG: 27k
Travel: 2k
Food: 5k max
Gym: 2k
Education loan: 30k
Total expenditure: 66k
Hi everyone, here's my profile. I recently moved to new city and haven't been getting much matches lately, please let me know what I might be doing wrong!
Just started job, will get 78k this month end.
Current savings in account: 5k
Per month expenditure:
Stay: 27k
Food: 5k
Travel: 2k
Total: 34k
I am yet to start my education loan emis, but since it's at 7%, I am planning to not start it rn, and delay it so I can have some cash in hand.
But yeah need to start it within next 5 months. So after it starts it's gonna be straight 30k or around.
So if we include that, expenditure will be around
Total : 64k
Left with 14k. Where to invest?
I am planning to invest in small cap and multi cap MF in equal splits: 7+7k per month.
I hold 1.1L in equity (At 9% total returns) currently, hoping post tax it will be 8% so I beat the education loan interest rate.
And 42k in MF currently ( total returns :4%) (Equal splits of small and large cap overall)
How can I manage my expenses well.
And how do I manage first few months worth of salary? In terms of investing. Not interested in emergency funds cause it stays in bank.
Long term goal : Buy a house, build wealth
Medium Term : Early retirement
No short term goals as such.

I did argue with the seller saying MRP is 70, how is he charging Rs 75.
He said 5rs jaada charge karte hai.
I said ese kese MRP se jaada charge kar sakte ho?
And he replied with "Lena hai toh lo nahi toh nahi bechna"
