I thought it was not inexpensive but it is certainly well made.

Small amount of post processing had to be done on the plate mount but overall the whole thing seems sturdy.

The mechnism to attach to the grille is also very well made and attaching and releasing takes literally seconds. It is also somewhat satisfying? how it actually does feel like snap into place.

I wear medium gloves all day with basically all glove manufacturers. You can see how thick the supporting arms are. There is very little deflection in this entire assembly.

I am happy with the purchase.

Here is my attempt to family proof the ride a little

Got Cybex Base T which uses Isofix with its fixed arms and a leg. Puts less pressure on the seat.

Trunk lip cover installed.

Seat back protectors (without too much crease).

Underseat tray has been useful with baby stuff.
