I am 26F and had total thyroidectomy and RAI post a PTC diagnosis. It’s been a year, clear scans, I’m on thyroid meds, everything normal. How do I bring this up in AM situations? I feel like people will not give me a chance as soon as they hear cancer.

Through a series of decisions that I’m beginning to regret, I’m here in Reading for the summer with a remote job. I love walking outdoors, hiking, and occasionally visiting cafes/restaurants and museums. Please give me recommendations for things to do and places to visit! I’m finding it expensive to navigate out of this city (although I will do so for a few weekends), and uncomfortable/unsafe to explore downtown.
