Gaming wish: a CRPG set in the Redwall universe of Brian Jacques

Yeah, probably a niche ask, but I think it would be absolutely fantastic. The world building Brian Jacques did in Redwall, the lore, the characters, I think it would be fantastic in a CRPG game akin to BG3 or Divinity

Just need people to talk to

We just found out this morning that my wife is pregnant. We're both extremely excited. We've been trying since October, blood tests, semen analysis, ultrasounds of her ovaries, etc. I was dizzy on the verge of tears and then I got sucked into my head.

The planning, the purchases, my health, the baby's health, etc.

Long story short, just got back into work after 2 years of mental health leave and fighting with my former employer.

We found out 3 months ago that I've been B12 deficient, for probably 2 years or more. The neurological side effects that my doctor and I thought were the anti depressants, have turned out to be B12 (I first started noticing dizziness and internal tremors in spring of 2024, meaning I've probably been B12 deficient for even longer). I'm receiving treatment.

I already knew that B12 effects sperm count, motility (my analysis showed a decent count but low motility back in March), but I hadn't realized until today from reading that it's also linked to higher chances of miscarriage, DNA fragmentation and chromosomal damage.

I'm just spiraling mentally at the moment. And I realized while working while I'm excited and terrified, I haven't really taken a moment to enjoy it. I'm AuDHD, my brain goes from the immediate excitement to, I need to plan and over-research everything

Commercial backpack vacuum

So I'll be perfectly honest, this may sound stupid as fuck to some of you but that's alright.

I work at a semi-pro baseball stadium, to clean the in-field of stray pieces of clay from players' cleats after or before games/mowing we are currently using the Milwaukee 3-in-1 backpack vacs. I personally hate them. They're messy as hell, and they clog regularly

Would anyone have any recommendations?

I built a free, homegrown tool to track Canadian Tire clearance deals

Hey everyone,

I know Canadian Tire sells a mix of domestic and imported goods, but as a legacy Canadian retailer, I figured this community might appreciate a tool I built to make shopping there a lot easier (and cheaper).

With the cost of living right now, I’ve been trying to hunt down more clearance deals. But the Canadian Tire website makes it notoriously difficult to see actual, heavily discounted clearance stock at your local stores without clicking through hundreds of pages.

I spent my evenings building a homegrown web app to solve this. It’s called ClearanceCheck.ca.

How it works:

📍 You put in your postal code (or use your device's GPS) to search stores within a radius.

🔥 It instantly scrapes the store and only shows you items that are 40% OFF or more.

📦 It taps into the backend to show you the ACTUAL stock numbers (e.g., "⚠️ Only 2 left" or "📦 18 in stock") so you don't waste gas driving to a store for phantom inventory.

🔽 You can sort by the highest discount percentage or the lowest price.

Link: https://www.clearancecheck.ca

Full transparency: I am not a business. This is a 100% free, Canadian-made passion project.
