Has anyone here installed a dashcam using the obd port as a power source? Does it work for parking surveillance mode on the dashcam? Thanks

A little bit of background:

I’m a Malaysian currently holding two jobs: a remote part-time job in Malaysia and a permanent full-time job in Singapore under an EP

I pay tax to the IRAS for my full-time job in Singapore. When filing my taxes in LHDN, I only declare the income from my part-time job in Malaysia. From what I found online, Malaysians working in Singapore usually just put 0 income when filing taxes in LHDN. Since I do have a part-time job locally, I only keyed in that amount.My part-time income is below the taxable threshold, so I basically don’t pay any tax in Malaysia.

Current situation:

I’m looking to buy a car that costs around RM170k, with a 20% down payment, so roughly a RM130k loan. I applied for the loan using my Singapore income profile.

Questions:

1. Will this trigger an audit from LHDN, since my declared income in Malaysia clearly doesn’t support this kind of purchase?

2. What would they typically ask for? For example: Will they say something like “your car purchase doesn’t match your income level, please provide your source of income”? Or will they audit my entire tax filings from previous years?

3. Would my tax records with IRAS be enough to explain my situation if it comes to that?

If dealing with LHDN becomes too much hassle, I might just use my wife’s profile to take the loan instead. The only downside is that I won’t have my NCD, so I’ll end up paying more for insurance. I’m also a bit worried that they might restrict me from leaving the country while the audit is ongoing, which would affect my job in Singapore.
