TCS onboarding docs still showing approval pending. Is this normal?

Hey everyone,

My TCS joining is on 22nd July.

I uploaded all my Set 1 documents except the bonafide certificate and final semester marksheet because I didn't have them at that time. I have both of them now, and the onboarding team said they'll reopen the portal around 15 days before joining, so I'll upload them along with the Set 3 documents.

The thing I'm worried about is that all the documents I've already uploaded are still showing "Approval Pending."

Is this normal?

Do they approve the documents only after everything is uploaded, or do they keep approving them randomly as they review them?

If anyone joined recently or went through the same process, could you let me know how it worked for you? Just trying not to overthink 😅

Thanks!

TCS document submission deadline but my college is closed. What should I do?

I recently received a document submission request from TCS. They've asked me to submit all the required documents by 29th June, including:

Class 10 & 12 marksheets

PAN card

Birth certificate

All semester marksheets

Bonafide certificate or Provisional certificate

The issue is that my college is closed today and tomorrow, so I can't collect my Provisional Certificate and Semester 6 marksheet before the deadline.

Has anyone faced a similar situation during TCS onboarding?

I'd really appreciate any advice or experiences. Thanks!

Lost, waiting for TCS joining, and feeling stuck in a loop. Need some advice

Hi everyone,

I don't usually post, but I feel completely lost right now and could really use some advice from people who may have gone through something similar.

I received my Offer Letter from TCS and have been waiting for my Joining Letter since May. The uncertainty is honestly getting to me. Every day I check for updates, hoping something changes, but nothing happens. I don't know whether I'll have to wait a few more weeks or several more months.

In the meantime, I've been doing an internship for almost 4 months now. The problem is that this place doesn't really require a developer. Most of the work I do has very little to do with software development, so a lot of the time feels wasted. The only positive thing is the stipend, which is helping me survive financially.

Before all this, I was highly motivated. Whenever I had free time, I would learn new technologies, take courses, build projects, and experiment with different things. Over the last couple of years I've worked on Full Stack Development, App Development, DevOps, and Gen AI projects. I genuinely enjoyed learning and building things.

But lately, something has changed

Even though I know there are still countless things I could learn, I just don't feel the drive anymore. It's like my brain has decided that this chapter is over and the next chapter won't begin until I receive my joining letter from TCS. As a result, I feel stuck in this strange waiting room where I can't fully move forward, but I also can't go back to the excitement I used to have.

I sit down to learn something, open a course, think of a project idea, and then immediately lose interest. It's not that I hate development. I still love tech. I just feel mentally exhausted and directionless.

Has anyone experienced something similar while waiting for a job to start?

How did you deal with the uncertainty and get your motivation back? Did you continue learning, take a break, focus on something else, or just wait it out?

I'm honestly tired of feeling stuck and would appreciate any advice.

Thanks for reading. 🙏

Will having an unused UAN affect me as a fresher joining a new organization?

I was about to join an organization previously, and as part of the onboarding process, they asked me to create a UAN. I completed the UAN creation, but due to some reasons, I never actually joined that organization.

Now, I am about to join another company, and they consider me a fresher with no prior work experience. I already have an existing UAN, but it has no service history, no PF contributions, and no Member ID linked to it.

Could having this unused UAN cause any issues during the onboarding process or with EPF records? Has anyone been in a similar situation? What should I do in this case?
