Extra shipping cost, after confirmation

So I purchased 5 jerseys from KitDDM last week. I got the shipping confirmation a few days later, with the picture of the jerseys saying they shipped.

Today I got another email saying I need to PayPal someone $8USD extra because it’s being shipped to a remote location. I already paid $50 for shipping when I purchased. I’m in a fairly large US city, far from remote.

Is this standard procedure? Anybody else had a similar experience?

Signature ID help

I was recently gifted this giant puck signed by some of the squad after this year’s cup win. I’m stoked, but need some help identifying some of the signatures.

So far I see:

Slavin (top left)
Aho (right of Slavin)
Blake (just below them)
Maybe Taylor hall (just under Blake)
Sean Walker (above logo)
Keandre Miller (top right of logo)
Freddie Anderson (left of keandre)
Maybe Ehlers (Above Keandre)

That leaves the far left, far right, top center, and bottom two signatures. I was told Chatfield is one of them, but can’t figure it out. Thanks in advance fellow Caniacs!

No LMS drop tonight?

Any one know if there will be an LMS drop tonight? It’s open now with nothing new. Seems like usually they shut it down to upload tickets before an 9 PM drop

Lake O’Hara - trail conditions

I know this is technically a BC hike. Has anyone been to lake O’Hara recently/ this season that can comment on trail conditions? I’m headed there on Canada Day, hoping to do the Alpine Circuit hike. Parks Canada has a few segments listed as “not recommended” due to snow. I don’t mind snow hiking, but I know there are some treacherous sections as well. We will be equipped with poles, boots/ Yak tracks, but no mountaineering equipment or crampons. Thanks.

**Post hike update, for anyone reading with the same question: i spoke with multiple park rangers, and for the “not advised” hiking sections, the advice I got was to attempt them, and turn around if it felt slick or sketchy. So this is what we did. Prior to the hike, we did rule out the All Souls section, per ranger advice. Too much snow.

Wiwaxy Gap was clear up to the pass. There are still some traverse snow sections that are boot packed. The snow was soft and grippy so we continued. We would not have continued in poor weather/ snow pack.

Yukness Ledges: about .25 miles into this section, there is a snow field where the traverse begins lateral, and continues up the mountain. It is a no fall zone, and there is no bypassing. Steep snow just below, that continues off a cliff. Yesterday this particular section had an ice/ slush combo that wouldn’t lend itself to arresting in a fall. We turned back here, but did see another couple continuing on. IMO this section would only be safely doable with the snow fully frozen, crampons, and maybe an ice axe to arrest.

We took the Yukness bailout trail back towards Victoria lake and returned on the lakeshore. It was still an epic hike. Thanks to those that commented with cautionary advice.
