80’s Camel from Solvang, California. Who is the artist?
My Dad got this camel in Solvang, California in the 80’s believing it’s a 1 of a kind. I told him it’s probably just a hand painted copy from a series. Anyway the signature looks like ATR? Can anyone help me find the artist? Thanks in advance!

What tools can I use to cut this off?
What tools that I probably already have can I use to grind/cut this part of this rough aquamarine off? I have a foredom with many different bits that could conceivably be a good option. Not sure if it’s smart to use my flex shaft for that though.

I want to get into CAD design for jewelry but don't want to spend $1k on Rhino just yet is Blender a good way to start?

I need to redo this bezel. How can I protect the flush set sapphires?
How do I protect the flush set sapphires from the heat required to redo this bezel? Not worried about the star sapphire as I’m just going to cut it out.

Beryllium Treatment for Tourmaline?
Can Tourmaline be treated with Beryllium like Sapphires? I've seen an Etsy seller with really nice Tourmalines saying "heat treated with Beryllium". I know low heat is normal for Tourmaline but the Beryllium gave me pause because as far as I know Tourmaline cant survive this process. Am I right in thinking this is a red flag and doesn't add up?

Am I the only one that keeps forgetting to shut this darn thing at the end of the day coming back to dry flux? ☹️ I end up having to put water in it and mixing it up.
