On Patrol Live Leaving Peacock, As Per Peacock Rep
To follow up on my post in this group from the other day about OPL possibly leaving Peacock due to the note on every OPL episode that you have 'x' number of days left to watch the show, today it's 22 days left, I finally got an answer from someone at Peacock regarding this, and it's not good.
According to a Peacock customer service agent named Gagandeep that I just had an online chat with on their website, he said the following, an exact quote:
"I would like to inform you that On Patrol Live will be leaving Peacock on 9/7/26 due to streaming rights."
So it sounds like Reelz is not renewing their streaming rights with Peacock, most likely I would assume to push people to their new streaming platform Reelz+. I am still trying to get an answer about this directly from Reelz, but they do not seem to respond to messages.
I suppose it's possible that Peacock and Reelz will reach a new agreement between now and 9/7. As some replied in my previous post about this topic, these "x days left" countdowns have appeared on OPL and other shows on Peacock before, and the shows did not end up leaving. I'm just informing everyone what I heard from Peacock directly.
I will update if I ever hear back from Reelz on this.

UPDATE 4:25pm ET: I finally got a response from Peacock in the Facebook chat that I sent the other day, and this person said OPL is remaining on Peacock. So I honestly don't know what the correct answer is. Got two different answers from two different people. Doesn't seem like anybody there knows what's going on. Guess we'll find out on 9/7 whether OPL stays or goes. Hopefully it stays.
My initial post was just reporting what I was told earlier in a live chat. As for the first name of the agent that I spoke to that everyone seems to be getting a chuckle about, I guess that's what happens when you farm out your customer service to India, lol.
