Here’s an official, up-close look at • A N i K A \~ N i L L E S •’ new custom kit specially built for the Rush ‘Fifty Something’ Tour! Crafted using STAR Bubinga shells in a custom finish and custom sizes, Anika chose Bubinga for its deep, punchy low-end that works perfectly on big stages.

Notable drums are the custom size Gong Drum designed by Anika & Maple concert toms for added top-end presence. This detail is a special tribute to Neil Peart and came at the suggestion of his longtime drum tech, Lorne Wheaton, who noted that Neil often favored brighter woods for concert toms to cut nicely through the mix.

TAMA is truly honored to have been entrusted to build this kit with Anika & and hope it serves as a lasting tribute to Neil, the entire Rush family, and the fans.
