Where can I buy quality EDC-type fixed blades that come without scales?

Not knives that are meant to be carried without scales, and not generic blanks. I’m looking for a something with a respectable name brand and high tier steel that I can make my own scales for.

The AK1 in Magnacut is a perfect example; you’re meant to also order scales from them to customize a complete knife, but they don’t mind selling you just the blade. Spiderco Mule Team is another great example. What else is out there?

Pictures of some of the stuff I’ve made and plated in copper. All are carbon steel, either 52100 or 15N20. Someone wanted to see how well this type of copper plating holds up. Just clean the blade and wipe on some Baquacil brand copper-based algicide, no other prep required. It doesn’t work on stainless steel. You can make it look even and consistent, I just like the random splotchy look.

The last two pictures show the copper plating after almost two years of light to moderate use. Carried in veg ran leather. The spot where my thumb lands during utility cuts has been rubbed almost clean, but the rest still looks pretty good.
