Refined INT build
After posting my initial INT build in here and in the ER subreddit, I got some feed back and have made a few changes to my build. This is the original build:
Vigor: 60
Mind: 25
Endurance: 25
Strength: 16
Dexterity: 13
Intelligence: 80
Faith: 9
Arcane: 7
Right hand: Dark Moon Greatsword
Left hand: Staff of Loss
Talismans:
Godfrey Icon
Shard of Alexander
Magic Scorpion Charm
Graven-Mass Talisman
Physick:
Magic Shrouding Cracked Tear
Cerulean Hidden Tear
Spells:
Terra Magica
Night Shard
Night Comet
Stars of Ruin
Comet
The changes I've made:
- Replaced Staff of Loss with Carian Regal Scepter
- Replaced Cerulean Hidden Tear with Opaline Hardtear
The new spell list:
Terra Magica
Rock Sling
Night Comet
Ranni's Dark Moon
Adula's Moonblade
Let me know if there are any other changes I should make, any feedback is appreciated
Help with INT build
I've never done an INT build, but I want to try it and I already have some idea of a build, but I think it definitely needs to be refined. Here's the build so far:
Vigor: 60
Mind: 25
Endurance: 25
Strength: 16
Dexterity: 13
Intelligence: 80
Faith: 9
Arcane: 7
Right hand: Dark Moon Greatsword
Left hand: Staff of Loss
Talismans:
Godfrey Icon
Shard of Alexander
Magic Scorpion Charm
Graven-Mass Talisman
Physick:
Magic Shrouding Cracked Tear
Cerulean Hidden Tear
Spells:
Terra Magica
Night Shard
Night Comet
Stars of Ruin
Comet
That's all I have for right now. I'm aware my staff and Spells could probably be adjusted. Any tips would be helpful to improve this.
PVE build inspired by the Nightlord
I had this idea to do an INT build inspired by Heolstor. Using the Dark Moon Greatsword as a main weapon and maybe some of the night sorceries or anything that would fit with the theme. I've never done a run that focuses so much on spell casting, so I'm a noob in that department, so any tips would be good, and I also have no idea what early game would be like.
Besides it following my movements, you can see me try to lock on to it and it doesn't work. It should be noted that it finally faded and gave me souls a few seconds after I stopped recording.
I'm not sure how hot of a take this is, but UltraGS are just a weapon category I can't seem to do well with. I've tried multiple runs with Astora's GS or Profaned GS and, at some point I just get frustrated with using them that I just end the run early. This isn't a problem with big weapons, as I can use Great Hammers without much trouble, but Ultra GS I struggle with for some reason.
So, I've been delving into this a little bit but I have a few questions that I still haven't found. So, for those not in the know, Pontiff Sulyvahn was originally going to be the final boss of the main game, though apparently using the name "Old King of the Eclipse" so I have no idea if he was still the Pontiff Sulyvahn or if Pontiff was going to be a different boss altogether. The other thing involves the role that the Soul of Cinder was going to have. It's kind of strange that he, the actual final boss of the game, was featured so heavily in trailers and is on the cover. It's also worth noting that merch of him, at least the Funko of him, refers to him as "The Red Knight" so I'm wondering if maybe he was originally an NPC....or maybe always intended to be a boss.
