Why does it seem the city is more interested in finding a bidder for MLB than keeping the caps? Could they not turn the hastings racetrack area into a sports venue with 3 amazing sports venues? I mean, the coliseum is right there already. Add a baseball stadium, a soccer pitch (sorry, gotta call it soccer with cfl football at bc place), add some restaurants and bars into building plans and it's a money maker, especially with the tie in to playland and the PNE....

Could get restaurants like panago, Mr mikes, wrap zone, white spot, cactus club, earls, browns, fresh slice, spaghetti factory, and Joey's... add Boston pizza because bc is where it blew up... blend coffee for a café... make it a all bc spot...

Put a night market there, and its just money making

Can the city not see that to make money, you gotta spend it too?
