Hello, I've been thinking to buy a center stand for my gt. But the og stand is around 5k if I'm not wrong. Online I'm getting it at around 1.5k.

I'm not a professional biker, I just love cafe racers. Please guide me on this.

So we've been in a relationship for 2 years. And almost every time we went on a date we mutually sat beside each other, discussed the venue and what we will wear, u knw, just to match the vibe of the venue.

My girl likes dressing up and clicking photos of herself, when she visits pretty places. That said, I'm kind of laid back, I don't care much about pictures and dressing up, at least not yet. When I earn better in the future, I surely would.

So I recently achieved some things in life and I was happy about it. And I decided that I will plan a date and invite her, like a proper gentleman. For a change I wanted to plan all by myself and she should just pause her mind and focus on looking pretty. That's all I wanted. And I even told her that this time, I'll be the one planning the date and she should just wear a nice dress.

I know she's very picky about what dresses she should wear and how the place matched with her outfit. Out of that concern, I sent her the location of the place where I planned our date at. Idk if that's usually done. But anyway I did. And she was a bit sad that I didn't keep it a surprise. Then she started to make remarks "it's not that photogenic", "it's a rooftop restaurant it might rain", "the taste would be good right?"

And all those questions kind of made me sad. I've planned a date at a 5 star restaurant with an astonishing ambience, situated on a rooftop, that serves the best Italian in the city.

She said she's sad because she didn't want me to tell her the place. Whereas I know, if she didn't wear the dress she thinks which suits the ambience she would get mad at me. And she doesn't like my choice of clothes that much hence I had to tell her the place. P.S. we're not staying together when all this happened, it was all on text. And we will meet in a few days.

I know I might have messed up, but any tips to handle this well in future?

Hello, I will be attempting the CEH practical exams.

I know it's an open book test but I wanted to ask the difficulty level of the questions.

Is it the same level as the practice labs/ CEH engage labs?

Or more in depth questions?

Also regarding the answers... I can submit them multiple times till I get the correct one?

Hello, I attempted my first try today. The passing score was 89.

I'm Really demotivated as I sacrificed sleep learning the concepts. And the worst part is those long paragraphs you have to read while attempting the questions.

I could've understood them. But there are 125 of them. A person can read 60-70 at a time but 125? And no washroom breaks just adds cherry on top for the worst experience of your life.

cyber quotient is great if you attempt those questions by understanding the concepts. But to tackle the scenarios.... You'll need a lot of practice for those types of questions.

My course is valid only till 15 july. Any resource recommendations for studying, even paid ones would be appreciated.

Hello, I recently updated my kali and it upgraded the burpsuite version to the latest which is not letting me perform my portswigger labs. I want to downgrade it and I'm unable to find the version which would allow me to. I tried using owasp zap on portswigger labs but I'm unable to get my flags on it. Well I'm a Cybersecurity student. But roles for it are rare, what do you think is the most common role companies hire from our college? I'm thinking of switching hence would appreciate some input.

I've recently completed a VAPT internship, and I just entered my final year. So I have one year to find one more internship, which I think is a low probability event. Cybersecurity Internships are scarce, more scarce than cybersecurity jobs.

And Afaik, pentesting jobs are majorly for experienced professionals. So I'm thinking of learning SOC concepts and tools.

And comparing pays. DevOps option I think pays better than SOC roles.

So here are my questions:

1. How much time will I need to learn SOC concepts and tools? Considering I have basic knowledge.

2. If I switch to DevOps, how much time to learn for that role?

3. Can I simultaneously learn both SOC and DevOps? And prepare for both roles?

I need some opinions from the girls here.

We usually share memes with each other. And we are at a certain level of comfort with each other that we pull each other's legs, make fun of each other and we're completely fine with all that verbal teasing.

Now we both are college students. I don't earn yet. I save my pocket money and get her as many gifts as I can for special occasions.

And her family is well off. She also tries to save her pocket money and does not show off her wealth ever. And she spends a lot on my birthdays, she doesn't think twice while spending the amount a usual student would think before spending.

And yes I feel a bit ashamed that I cannot buy her something pricey. And yet, She never complains, she's very very happy when I give her a mere handmade gift card randomly.

So recently my family has been going through a bit of a hard time. So I cancelled a small trip with her and our friends. I had to put a rock on my heart to do that. I cut a lot of my monthly costs as well.

We both went to our hometowns as the semester ended, and in a few days, she sends me a meme, where a boy is getting pegged and caption says "girlfriend birthday present, cause I'm broke". Is she fed up of me? Of my financial status? I know this is a joke. But I recently almost got a paid internship. And me being unable to stand on my own feet has made me a little sad. She was supporting me, and motivated me as well, that I'll get there one day and all. I put in the effort everyday. I wish to earn so much, my girl won't need to worry about getting a job. And I seriously take that much effort. But that meme stung me.

I interned for a startup for free for 4 months. I took a few weeks break for my end sem exams and before that the CEO told me not to worry about continuing the internship and that he will also provide a stipend when I continue after the exams.

Now here's the thing, I used to carry out pentests on their web app and found a critical level IDOR. The co-founder and CTO were pleased with my work, they replied on my internship completion post on LinkedIn, told me that my work was great throughout the internship so and so...

Now I approached them again and he said, they are currently going through "internal restructuring" and that he won't be able to offer an internship this month. And he will contact me when the "requirement is strong". As far as my experience with rejections goes, those are just other words for "Bye bye". He also appreciated my work, my ownership etc etc. I Guess he did that to sweeten the situation and politely asked me to 'go away'.

Any experienced ppl in Cybersecurity. Considering my performance as an intern and his replies, am I cooked? Or is there really a silver lining?
