I am running MSFS2024 on my AMD 7800X3D and RTX4080 Super. Everything has been great up until last night - now whenever I send the radio communcation for takeoffer, enter the runway and start the takeoff, my game plummets from 60+ FPS right down to low single digits rendering the game unplayable. If do somehow manage to get the plane off the ground, the game suddenly becomes playable again and frame rates are fine.

It doen't matter what plane I do it in, the results are the same. Lowering the graphics quality doesn't help.

Any tips here? Is this a known problem?

I'm not sure what else to add, but I think I recall having a slingshot/catapult years ago which I held in my right hand and drawn with the left.

Target acquisition and tracking is certainly faster if I shoot a rifle LH but dexterity is a different matter.

What do you recommend I try?
