I find it so frustrating when artists announce a tour the day before presale

Maybe I'm just out of the loop but I just saw announcements for the Burning Up Tour yesterday. The presale is tomorrow. It just gives no time to save for tickets. I wish there was more notice.

I know that there is a general sale, but we are all aware that presale is the optimal way to purchase tickets.

I guess it doesn't matter because I live in a city that is never chosen as a stop by any artist and most of the dates are week nights and a min 3/4 hours away.

Don't mean to rant I've seen JB before, but haven't been able to swing it these last few tours as I'm a grad student.

Looking for some advice after passing my first fieldwork

Hello!

I just finished my first level 2 fieldwork at inpatient rehab. My final grade was 115. I'm so happy that I passed. I had a pretty good experience with an amazing OT. I'm just worried about how close to the 111 threshold that I scored. Should I be concerned about it?

All the feedback I got was very fair. I felt like I finally grew closer to being a working practitioner and my OT was so supportive that I was getting more comfortable each day. Of course there are always going to be areas to improve on. Maybe I'm just overthinking it.

I'm going to outpatient pediatrics next and I'm worried about the change, especially with the increase in case load. I have a few weeks to freshen up on peds things, but I am quite nervous.

Any advice would be so helpful. Thank you:)

To my 19 year old baby

When I saw you at the shelter when I was a girl scout in first grade, I never could have imagined the lifetime of memories we would make together. I can't imagine life without you in it because you have always been in it. Always front and center like the true matriarch that you are. A constant in every changing season for nearly two full decades. I know what you are telling me and I know it's time we have to let you go. We aren't ready, but we know you are. I hope you know how impactful your beautiful life was on us. It was such an honor to raise you and love you always. If soul cats exist, you are mine and I'm confident I will see you again in the next lifetime.

Hi! This is my last week of didactic material and in a few short weeks I'll be out on my first fieldwork rotation!

I'm excited and a little nervous. OT school has been really really hard for me. I've always felt behind and out of place in my cohort. I truly didn't think I was going to make it to this point of my program, but I'm ready for the changes ahead.

I'll be doing acute care this summer and then in the school system this fall.

I know there can be a lot of negativity around fieldwork (and even the profession at times), so I would love to hear some stories as an OT or OTA whether from practice or from fieldwork...moments where you truly made an impact!

Thank you :)

Hi :) visiting Greensboro for the day tomorrow and would love some matcha recommendations if anyone has a good spot!

Coming for a job interview so I won't have much time but hoping to find some cute shops or a cute place to walk since it will be warm.

Thank you!!
