Brought the p211 home, and next thing I know, it's a 70

Picked up the new p211 nightshift - the plan was to take it to the range and run it, then covert to a 70 and compare. I got stuck on a conference call and my tools were looking at me like so seductively.

put in the Wilson 80->70 conversion kit and some aluminum Lok panels - it started at 4.2# trigger pull.
Put in the conversion and tuned the sear a bit, managed to get it down to 1.8#. After reassembly it settled and got some intermittent hammer follow, put it back up to 2.3# which resolved the issue -will tune more after I break it in.

All in all's got a nice break, and positive reset. Will run it tomorrow and give additional thoughts.

Said farewell to my 110 and came home with a 130

I know how yall feel about the 130... and I had my reservations, but I love the truck so much and ultimately needed the extra room for the family (including the dog that was supposed to be 40# and is pushing 80# at 14mos.

Went with the p400 X-Dynamic SE in Woolstone / Caraway with the captains chairs. Got all sorts of fun stuff inside like fridge, HUD, rear tow hooks, beefy tires (ha).

Drove it for a bit today (and obviously before I made my decision) and for the most part it drives the same as the 110.

If I had one gripe... the captains chairs do not fold fully flat when going for all cargo mode - but with the extra cargo space plus the space between the captains chairs, not sure how often I will really need that feature.

One question I do have - for for those of you with 130 w/ captains chairs - when the third row is down, what do you put to effectively close off the cargo area?

2026 Defender Reliability

Currently leasing a 2023 defender 110 p400 -
With current lease offers, buying seems like a better deal (won't have to worry about a new lease in ~ 3 years). Considering buying a new 2026 110 x p400 - besides the occasional electrical gremlin where the screen didn't turn on (always went away after I would park and come back from the store 5 min later), last 3 years has been headache free.

My concern is 3 years from now all those gremlins will start going crazy and I'll be stuck with a super expensive headache.

Am I over thinking this? Love the defender but honestly just not sure what to do

Edit: In a perfect world I would buy a 110 NAS - but wife vetoed that and requires modern safety specs for the lil ones - I lost the argument - so
Please don't rub salt in the wound by telling me to go do that
